I love this march, I feel connected to it in a deep way. I am a veteran, Hispanic but very connected to our country in a visceral way. I would gladly fight to preserve and or restore our Republic.
I just found this song via the RUclips homepage, and I found it quite entertaining! Although I am an American, I never listened to this song before. However, I like it a lot! Thanks for the video! Subscribed!
America is the greatest nation state to exist in the history of mankind. I am not an American, but George Washington is my favourite historical figure.
The greatest part about the USA is that it’s not a nation-state. The Westphalian idea of the nation-state was already revolutionary to the multiethnic empires of Europe. The creation of the United States and the federalist thought behind it was revolutionary to the Westphalian system of nation and state.
Thank you, my good sire (or whichever gender you prefer to go by)! I’m American and USA is indeed the most greatest and majestic countries, nations, and lands to ever live! I am very proud of my country and Mr. Washington is indeed one of the most enlightened and noble notable figures! Him, Mr. Jefferson (the author of The Declaration of Independence), Mr. Madison (Father of the US Constitution), and many more of us!
You don't know the half of it. In this version the last verse has been toned down. The 1773 version was: Some future day shall crown us, The masters of the main, Our fleets shall speak in thunder To England, France, and Spain; And the nations over the ocean spread Shall tremble and obey The sons, the sons, the sons, the sons Of brave America.
@@PetervanInwagen-d7kThe fun part is that it took 180 years, but we actually went and did it. The Navy beat France in the Quasi War and Spain in the Spanish American War. And in the Suez Crisis of 1956, the US basically told Britain that if they didn’t stop doing imperialist fuckery in Egypt, we’d tank their economy and sink the Royal Navy. They got the message and went home.
Some talk of Alexander, and some of Hercules Of Hector and Lysander, and such great names as these. But of all the world's brave heroes, there's none that can compare. With a tow, row, row, row, row, row, to the British Grenadiers. Those heroes of antiquity ne'er saw a cannon ball, Or knew the force of powder to slay their foes withal. But our brave boys do know it, and banish all their fears, With a tow, row, row, row, row, row, for the British Grenadiers. Whene'er we are commanded to storm the palisades, Our leaders march with fusees, and we with hand grenades. We throw them from the glacis, about the enemies' ears.[n 1] With a tow, row, row, row, row, row, for the British Grenadiers. And when the siege is over, we to the town repair. The townsmen cry, "Hurrah, boys, here comes a Grenadier! Here come the Grenadiers, my boys, who know no doubts or fears! Then sing tow, row, row, row, row, row, for the British Grenadiers. Then let us fill a bumper, and drink a health of those Who carry caps and pouches, and wear the loupèd clothes. May they and their commanders live happy all their years. With a tow, row, row, row, row, row, for the British Grenadiers. Remember Lads, Subscribe to PewDiePie

This would have been a great song to be the national anthem.
When you hear rumours of "William Wilberforce" and find out the King is an abolitionist
That last verse, USA goes all out imperial
