I was in Ottawa for Remembrance Day in 2016 with 3 other veterans from Halifax ... we checked out the museum during our visit ... we made a tour around the building for 3 and a half hours and still did not see everything. i am impressed by how huge the building is and how many sections it has
had a school trip at the place when I was younger. Honestly great, you'll have a blast! ask to sit in some of the cars, the people let you sit in a couple

Just visited for the first time today, amazing place and huge! Definitely 3 hours minimum

I tried to get through the museum in 3 hours... can't be done. You will need 5-6 hours.
