Ok so I've been trying for a few hours so learn this. So the chkchk to get it to feel and sound like him is pretty hard idk. But the overall technique definitely isn't the hardest in this song. (That just shows how hard this fucking song is)

If you played thrash metal riffing and downpicking long enough, you should be able learn this technique a lot easier. I learned his strumming style within just a month after trying his "flexing on guitar" - but that was because I knew the mechanics involved as I previously played a lot of metal a few years ago.

Down (on the bottom strings), up on the top string, down (on the bottom strings), down on the top strings, up on the bottom strings.
That's what i understood at least.

In fact, it is open Cm, but it is not called like that as the open Cm tune is (C-G-G-G-C-Eb), so you can probably call it open Dm 1 step down, but I am not sure :D
