Steve Harwell was to me and my generation, who grew up listening to his music what Jimmy Buffett was to my parents and their generation or Leonard Nimoy to Sheldon Cooper of The Big Bang Theory. Aside from that, Steve Harwell was such a good guy. It was the devil that was making him stupid, that and alcohol. I just can't believe that he's gone. It felt like a part of me died when he died. I'm surprised he didn't have a restaurant or a drink named after him, like Jimmy Buffett did or even moved to Florida, but to Idaho since it's closer to Washington & Oregon state. He will be missed by all who know and remember him and his music. He's the "All Star" who's walking on the clouds now as opposed to "Walkin on the Sun". Rest In Peace Steve Harwell 🙏👍🙂.

Adnan al-Kaissie also wrestled in WWWF as Billy White Wolf, a Native American character. He teamed with Chief Jay Strongbow in 1976-1977 and they were former WWWF tag team champions.

Our Love is Alive by Gary Wright still has one of the best riffs ever with just the right amount of cow bell! Once it gets in your noggin, it's difficult to get it out. Great song by a talented artist.

Mrs. Lovell was a role model for us military wives. She also was inspirational during the Apollo 13 flight to the moon AND back. I was lucky to have spent a little time with her and I will never forget her humor, strength, and integrity. She will be missed greatly.

With all of the sport stars that you list, you missed a legendary figure of the NFL this week. A member of the NFL Hall of Fame, and the Dallas Cowboys' Ring of Honor. A man who redefined the way major sport leagues scout and draft rookie athletes. Implemented the use of computers in tracking stats AND character traits of potential draft picks IN THE 1960s. Created the NFL's Combine events. He was the last surviving member of the first three employees hired by the Cowboys franchise: General Manager Tex Schramm, Head Coach Tom Landry, and Vice President for Player Development and Scouting Gil Brandt. Brandt died on August 31st at the age of 91.

I will never forget Jim Tom Hedrick singing "RYE WHISKEY !! RYE WHISKEY !! DON'T LET ME DOWN !!' on the TV show, Moonshiners. He was a real character. I guess he and Popcorn Sutton are having a great time together up in Moonshiner's Heaven.
