You are a great RUclipsr and I feel like you deserve more subs. Although, I think you should add more variety to your content and review more peripherals and other stuff from different companies such as Cooler Master, Ducky, Logitech, and etc., and some occasional top 50 lists. That should increase your subs more, I think. :D
Thanks buddy! I brought this up on our first update a few videos back but the reason we have a limited amount of brands is because we purchase these ourselves. Another good thing about the X TE Chroma that even the new X Chroma lacks is that it has a standard bottom row compared to both the older Chroma full sized 'board and the TE Chroma making buying new keycaps a breeze.Just a tip for those who want to go baller with their keyboard.Anyway,good video man,you definitely deserve more subs.Keep'em coming!

Rock Jump Ninja does great mouse reviews but when it comes to keyboards he's a useless shill who admitted he doesn't even care about them so he's just doing it for free products. He doesn't even test them or mention the build of the keyboards nor it's keycaps which is essential. And when you tell him he missed these things he freaks out because he's also a child apparently.

Thank you Alejandro! Yes! Both of them come with stickers, if it's a chroma version they come with the chroma stickers :] And As for oil stains, I find that the BW X has that issue I brought up with the stain below the space bar but that aside, I haven't really noticed any stains :O!

Hey Vice! Yes you're right, The other two are for Razer's Gaming Mode and the Macro record light :D
the oil thing also affects my Mamba TE. if you want i can tweet a picture of that oilstain on both my left and right buttons.also annoys me alot.

Yay a new video! With a topic that I really enjoy! I have the Blackwidow Chroma and I personally enjoy it much more than the x edition. I relly dont like the exposed keys and I really miss the macro keys on the new one :D
Glad to hear! Razer is definitely going with a simpler and cleaner approach towards their producuts so I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing less buttons with their newer stuff D: RIP macro keys

do you have any idea how to romove the stain, coz my razer imperator are very bad looking. i think it is the coating of the outside was being removed and turns shiny amd oily.
They say dish soap that removes oil and grease stains on a wet wash cloth might help if it's not too bad. Some say alcohol as well but I feel like that might be too strong :O
Hey, I have a question, I currently have a blackwidow TE non-chroma and have a detachable cable, if my cable brakes or anything happens to it I can just buy a new cable, but if I buy this one and have problems with the cable I need to buy a new keyboard?
Hey bud! If you buy any of their keyboards that doesn't have a detachable cable, you have to RMA it so they can fix it and if not, you can crack it open and replace it yourself but that's the more dangerous route @_@
I just want to know why they made the drop off at the end of the keyboard so steep :/ its kinda uncomfortable.
One of my Blackwidow TE chroma switches stopped making clicky sound any idea about it ? how to fix it? :(
i think the keystrokes are gone, just change the keyboard if you still have the warranty for it

What is the best Black widow X or Black widow v2?

I'd say it's about the same as with any other mechanical keyboard! Keys come off easy and then it's just a matter of going one at a time :D As I said before, it's really on you. For me, I like simpler and smaller keyboards now so I went with the BWX TE :D It's my main keyboard right now :]
Wow, this is one of the best video of comparison between the two. However, can you tell me one very important point? Is both the keyboards have the same height? Or is the XTE has a much taller height? Looking forward.
Thanks Leremy! They're actually just about the same in height, the BW X looks taller because of the exposed keys though :D I think the height is incredibly important because it's how we adjust our hands on the keyboard so i'm glad they didn't make it taller :]
Are you sure they are of the same height? On your video at 1:45min... the box says 41mm height for the XTE, while if we check from Razer website, the TE is only 30mm. That is 11mm height different. Can you really confirm they are of the same height? Sorry that I need your double confirmation on this, but this is really important to me because I don't think it will be comfortable to have key that high.
Yes, that's right. They're not the exact height but off by a few points. I have them side by side here and when I switch from one to another I can't tell that there's a difference, 1.18in vs 1.61in is not even noticeable by the eye from what I can tell!
Wow, that's about 50% different in height. I suppose 1.18in is for TE and 1.61in is for XTE. So, I think is best for me to get TE since it is 50% shorter. I can't stand tall key. Thanks for the confirmation. You are the best :P

I have the x te because i like the metal design. only complaint is the lights are exposed more. not a problem if you have a monitor, but I'm using with a laptop that has a 180 hinge. I have the laptop positioned like ^ on a desk with the keyboard in front, the lights glare on the bottom of the laptop screen. not too big a deal, but i imagine it wouldn't be as noticeable with the bw te

Hey Xin! The only difference is the lighting :D If you see "Chroma" it has all the lighting options (or most) but if it doesn't have it. It most likely has limited lighting (green). They also cost less so if you dont care about the colors, you still get the same hardware :D

One thing that I felt was missed and I was hoping for was the ability to have your mouse closer to your other hand when gaming, a lot of tournament edition keyboards pitch this as the main advantage but I have yet to see a review of this and find out if its really that big of a difference. Anyway awesome video. You have gained a new subscriber.
I think that comes down to personal preference but now I only use 40-60% keyboards because I personally find it easier to use throughout the day when they're close together. Appreciate you watching, glad to have you!

what i like about the original TE is that the there is a small distance between fn keys and the number keys.

the blackwidow TE that I'm using right now is the 2014 edition, and it came with a Fabric, plastic kind of bag that you put the keyboard in, and I always had to leave the cable outside of the case, so that the bag doesn't always press down on the keys. Plus you had to slot the keyboard in sideways, into the side of the bag xd.
Does any of the blackwidow x te chroma keyboards have it with the stealth switches?

if you got difficult to choose which keyboard, go for the x one.. cause the older one got their switches made by kaihl, and that is bad.. the newer version is made by greentec, which is better.. i got the x one and it is brilliantly great :D

Sergio, I know that you've mention that you had smudges on the keyboard but I would like to know how much of a fingerprint magnet this kb is. Some reviews say it's not. And how can you compare the lights form this to the original TE? I know it leaks lights.

Hey Alberto! They're both pretty bad when it comes to fingerprints x.x It of course depends on how oily your hands get :O And the lights are pretty much the same except that the X leaks through the sides of the keys because they're exposed so they're actually less bright than the previous version!

Hey! good review! but i think, if you are reviewimg the keyboard, i think you should give more detail about it such as, is the layout of keyboard is standard bottom row or non standard bottom row? Because Razer keyboard model all comes with non standard bottom row but this BW X TE comes with standard bottom row. no 2, material of keycap. this keycap is PBT or ABS? well sure ABS but is it doubleshot? or only lazer engraved? how is it feel? has rubberized texture like CM Masterkeys Pro? No 3, give info about anti ghosting n kro. is it NKRO? or only 10KRO or 6KRO? No 4, review about it lighting modes. No 5, the sound when you typing. No 6, show how much rubberpad under the keyboard. hope you can consider this point in future when reviewing the keyboard thanks!

Is there any razer keyboard with macro keys that has its buttons lifted up it looks really cool.
The older versions of the BlackWidow has them! You may be able to find it at a lower price point as well :] Razers new products seem to be moving away from Macro Keys. Logitech and Corsair offer great keyboards with Macro Keys as well though, i'd definitely consider checking them out too :]

Yeah but the new Blackwidow has better build quality with that alloy frame rather than the all plastic one making it more sturdy overall, and it has cherry switches re-branded under razers green switches rather than the old khail switches on the previous model which were cheap, didn't last as long and didn't feel as nice as the new switches.

Hey buddy! To keep it simple, it comes down to 2 things: 1) The DS is silent and has flat chiclet keys. and 2) The BW line is mechanical so it's louder but more tactical. As for quality, you're paying more for BW's but the materials are better yet heavier :D
The Razer Ornata keyboard is a nice in between keyboard being that it is a membrane keyboard with some clicky/tactile feedback similar to mechanical keyboards.
for price ornata is better but mechanical keyboards is lovable xD i bought blackwidow x

the fact that secondary functions arent lit up (and neither are the spacebar and function keys on the old bw) bothers me so much
It's pretty bothersome D: I have no idea why they don't light up the FN's because those are the ones that most people don't memorize (outside of media keys) so you gotta always look down to find them @_@
