I find it always best to turn down the skid sounds in AMS2 to 20-30%, many people have that slidy feeling linked with the sound, take that out or turn it down, use a custom FFB file from the AMS2 forum V6000 Extreme and it's night and day as a sim. I play iRacing but with the right set up on AMS2 it's close to being on par for driving certain cars (when set up right). Don't use Default or Default+ FFB!!!!!!!
Yeah you still get some leeway on the limit, but it feels way more natural now and not like previously where you could maintain speed by 4 wheel drifting everywhere.
AMS2 would be by far my favorite sim of all time if it had better controller support (same for LMU). I can't afford a wheel and trying to drive lmdh or lmp2s in this game is like walking on egg shells. The original assetto corsa is so much better on controller. It also feels like the traction control in ams2 does literally nothing 😅. Nice video!
@@TonyUnderscore apparently there’s a bug where TC and ABS won’t work unless you have a control binding set for them. And yeah as much as it has its issues, Forza Motorsport is definitely the best “sim” on a controller.
Good race 👌🏼
Thanks! Excited to do more AMS2 very soon
@ same here. Getting a bit tired of just running GT3s on the same tracks on ACC. Then next week more cars and a track in LMU.
@@OldManSimRacing Yeah LMU has me more excited, I do wish the GT3s were all coming together, but excited to see how it compares with ACC

I’ll have to try both of those. I used to use custom FFB but feel like default is pretty solid now, but always willing to try something different
Novack Djokovick in simracing??
Yes i spun a lot now on the limit but its more realistic then before when AMS2 cars were "drifting" . IMO it feel more serious now.

It´s simply impossible to seriously simulate driving a race car using a "controller".
