reported as : Heart breaking and tragic news for the storm chasing and weather community today with the sad loss of storm chasers Tim Samaras, his son Paul Samaras and Carl Young.
lots of property down in Ardmore im figuring a mass exodous from that area soon we been lucky so far this year but I wouldn't wish this on no one and my sons gotta appoinment next fri at neurology up there might consider cancelling it till these storms are done for awhile you stay safe up there
Oklahoma soil is mostly clay which expands/contracts during the rainy/drought swings which occur regularly in the region. This phenomena seriously undermines efforts to build basements in Oklahoma, let alone full houses.
Weaker tornadoes usually knock them down, larger tornadoes throw smaller tree trunks multiple yards or miles. Outflow winds can knock down miles of trees. For example, outflow winds from the Wisconsin derecho knocked down so many forest trees that it can be seen from space.
Very true, but it wasn't directed at you and you could have just kept the drama out of this already tragic event. Maybe instead of arguing whether or not these two commentators deserve respect, which neither of them do, you should be focusing on giving respect to the people who deserve it most: The people who lost their lives in this terrible storm and the families who had to deal with losing loved ones. My heart goes out to the family of the TWISTEX team. They'll be dearly missed.
Helping is better than filming the Damaged i find. R.I:P Team twistex i,m very shoked . greetz from Germany it is normal that 2 F5 tornados in Oklahoma in 11 Days ?? its amazing and horror.
You obviously don't know the topographic nature of Oklahoma in this part of the state...and the whole hills argument has been debunked countless times. Nice try, though.
we've only been here a blink of an eye..mother earth is still mysterious..cycles..ice heat lava wind quakes asteroid electricity ect..I know the lure but don't go looking for it.we will never control it
Nice footage! I also captured something else in your footage at.32 seconds of your video Check it out! Tell me your thoughts. Could be debris of some sort. Definitely not a white bird. Again awesome closeup footage of the tornado!
Hemp-crete is created by mixing hemp stem hurds with lime and water for growing your own balistic tornado resistant house. Hempcrete fashioned into a dome or a pyramid would be better held to the ground by the winds themselves than stick built housing.
It would be possible to grow and manufacture hempcrete on a massive scale right in tornado alley. Mixed in batch plants and packed or poured into ballistic reinforced surface bunkers shaped liked domes or pyramids with few windows.
May Tim Samaras his son and his friend rest in peace.
R.I.P. Tim and Paul Samaras and Carl Young as well the other people that where killed in the tornado.
Thanks for showing damage. It would help if you could add text or voiceover for WHERE and WHEN these shots were taken.

Fact: a grave is present where Tim's car was found.
I am hearing terrible news about team twistex...... So sorry. :(

I would like to know if everyone was okay
Hawk Girl not everyone sadly
@@centenariosoul4638 Awww okay, thanks for letting me know.
That would be a headlight it looks like. Talking about the shot around 2:10?
how can tornado knocked down trees instead of pull them out of the ground ?

I wonder if the people in that car that was upside down were ok..
no...... they died😖😢
@@tomekko7448 how do you know?
Like a building, it all depends on how deep the tree is planted in the ground.

Tornadoes hit everywhere. I live in the mountains and we have 2 or 3 tornadoes every year. There's no solution.
WOW 😯
This was the tornado that killed the chasers.
Why can't they build underground houses? or are they cheap in OK?
The soil is very hard in OK

I hear radar noises ^_^

Oh goodie, i would probably never leave during a fire...
which is the evil storm is menest storm
Easy to build basements there as anywhere. Myth is difficult due to soil conditions. Simply a misnomer.
So what is the reason that the #1 state for tornadoes has the fewest number of basements? You'd think EVERY house would have basements.
Basements are another room to heat and cool (increase in expenses). Tornado shelters are better.
The police cars look like UFOs to me.
Omg... My city!! :'(
IF IT FAILS CAN U SMOKE IT?
Hemp could be grown in tornado alley for a type of ballistic hempcrete housing. Dome style and almost windowless.
NOT OK TORNADO
min 0:32 wtf??
You mean 0:32

5 deaths :(. So sad.
