He's really special. Petr Cech has given him glorious reviews as a player. SOme good saves in the vid, but from watching him in games, he makes some truly stupendous saves. For someone so small to get down so quick and be as athletic as he is should not be over looked. Player. Future top 3 goal keeper.
Courtois is class. The video in fact made him look ordinary. However, if u look carefully, his main attribute is his ability of realizing danger which some keepers might not be aware off which is remarkable for his age. With his reading of the game and his quick reflexes, I dont see why he wont become one of the top keepers in the world

Courtois actually has the second highest number of cleansheets in Europe (20), the first being Salvatore Sirigu (23).
But I completely agree with you. Courtois is pure class.

Yeah he just turned 21 in May but whatever, he's still so young for a goal keeper. When I said "regarding statistics", I meant all of them combined. But you're right, Sirigu from PSG has 23 clean sheets and Courtois is number 2 with 20.
But u're completely wrong about the last thing u said : he's the n°1 for Belgium since Wilmots is coach (one year), Mignolet and Gillet being n°2 and 3. He only conceded two goals in 7 games (Croatia and Serbia) and made a lot of decisive saves.

Idk why people are hating on De Gea. De Gea is world class keeper. He was the best keeper in EPL(the best league), he is by far better than Courtois.

Best goalkeeper this year in Europe regarding statistics (highest number of cleansheets, less goals taken, ...).
Palmares in three years :

- Europa League and European Supercup (2012)
- Copa del Rey + best keeper in Spain (2013)
And he's only 20. So maybe Mou wants to keep up with Cech, fine, but Courtois will NEVER sit on the bench behind Cech, he'll stay at Atletico. Especially with the WC coming up next year.

I'm an Atletico Madrid fans and I've watched almost all of the club's matches last season. All I want to say is that Courtois is even better than De Gea, no doubt!
They also have a 3rd brother who Chelsea is trying to sign, hes name is Kylian Hazard and according to Thorgan and Eden Kylian is the most talented.
It's crazy to think that Chelsea have Courtois, Lukaku and De bruyne. They already have Hazard and His brother Tom. They reportedly want Benteke and Dries Mertens (check him out). Under 22 Belgium team on the go here.

Manuel Neuer is the only goalkeeper better than him at the moment. If you say anyone else you have not been watching football recently and do not have a goalkeeping backround. If you think Cech is better than him, let alone top 5, you need to watch football with a non bias. Mignolet, De Gea, Begovic, Guzan, Lloris were all better last year. I am not saying better overall, but better that year.

in all honesty, most of the saves in this video are very normal for most goalkeepers. bar one or two in the video, the rest are just normal saves. Courtois is much much better than what's been portrayed in this video.

I'm a big Man U and De Gea fan but Courtois is better. De gea is great and could easily develop into the best in the world because his shot stopping ability is amazing, but courtois is 3 inches taller meaning he can probably cover 5-6 inches easier than de gea because of the long arms. And he is huge, can dominate in the air. I haven't watched enough of Courtois to know how well he is in the air, but I haven't seen a goalie more indecisive in the air than De Gea. So for now Courtois gets the nod
