I like how you show the driving assistant feature which many reviewers I've seen don't show. I really don't like those reviewers who only show the exterior and interior, without demo all the key features that the car holds.
The driving assist can maybe be updated over the air ? It is quite incredible that they did not nail it. They just need to partner up with a company that nailed it and integrate it into their cars !
they have been developing their in house auto driving abd apparently they have put in billions more for R&D, lets hope they come up with a competitive solution!
You're not wrong about ADAS and it's exhibits freaky behavour, I'm on my second Atto 3 because it lane departed at 120kph when ADAS and all safety settings on.
Hi. I live in Brasil, where BYD arrived last year (Tan/Tang in China & Han) and now launched Song Hybrid and Yuan Plus. I liked the Seal and I believe the car will be a world sucess. Of course that some details are not for everyone, but the most I DON'T LIKE in this model is the front. I don't know if I am very focused in the look of combustion cars, but I believe the electric ones didn't find the more desirable look. I heard that next year we will have here the Dolphin, the Seal and, probably, a hybrid sedan.
@@revchina I get 16.5kwh/100km on my byd han ev awd on highway. I think seal should be more efficient. crazy accelerating and frequent brakings drain battery faster. those who drive that way go for thrill, not efficiency.
@@qilu2004 yeah agree Seal should be around 13kwh/100 kms for rwd considering the fact that less aerodynamic model 3 can go as efficient as 12kwh/100 km
Subscribing from Kenya, which hopes to adopt EV's as part of climate change, it will be of great interest to me if [you] a range test could be carried out to validate the 700km range. It would have been good if you commented on battery charging, with emphasis on the possibility of charging in the house/home.
there are different versions, entry level 550km at 220000rmb, long range 700km at 260000rmb both rear wheel drive and a 4 wheel drive performance model with 650km costing 290000 with 530hp
This is in the uk soon, and have considered one, but agree too many over the top design features. These may look better if the car is in black. BUT why do all electric cars have glass roofs ( polstar, nio,tesla), had a Peugeot 308 gti with glass roof and way too hot in summer, I just want a normal roof with good old fashioned sunroof.
there is a all black version and in deed it looks better and more aggressive as well. The panoramic sunroof has become a must have for electric cars, some manufacturers give you a full shade for example the Denza n7 so you can have it the way you want

The lane assist has gotten better now I believe. I own one and it works ok.

not a problem for charging at home BYD supports up to 380v AD up to 7kw/hr or fast charging up to 120kw/hr.

It seems like a common issue with Chinese EV. For me it is important feature to have on long journeys. It is probability not necessary in the city.

i did about 14kw, so 500km should be doable with full battery
