this was great -esp like the sound you get during green onions. today I tried one of these at the guitar store ... it badly wanted to feed back. thanks
You are, like me, completely mad and I adore your enthusiasm for guitars. My mum told me I'd grow out of them; that was in Acton in 1963 when you could save up your Kellogs cornflake tokens off the packet and get a Burns! I never got that Burns but I had several encounters with them in later years, the recent Marvin being one. What a fine guitar that is...and your Gretsch is too. Cheers.
Actually the song, "Music, Music, Music", starts with the words, "Put another nickel in". Thanks for the really nice music, especially, Green Onions! Terry in Alexis, NC, USA
Luv the way you show its not just a Rockabilly Guit... I do alot more with mine then just Setzer and Pigat....( Mines the 6118 125th annie ) Good job and keep it rockin!!!

I can only agree with all positive comments here :) extremely nice playing, thanks for the upload. Maybe, if you have time and will, you could make a video tutorial for us newbies out there :)
hi paul very great playing, great gretsch sound, whats the song from 3.27 beginning? i knew it but - beat me - i dont know the title now, 5 ***** and best wishes
Love that Fatness of the Gretsch! May I ask what diddie you were playing around 0.32 and 1.30? sounds like an old country/blues tune, but I can't place it...memorable....
A couple things... Green Oinions...key of F? Secondly: If you don't mind me asking, what do you do? That's an awful lot of books and I could picture you as a proud member of academia (like myself) Lastly: Great playing! Makes me wanna pick up my Gretsch!
actually I liked your playing a lot, I was referring to the other ten reviews I watched and was exaserbated by the time I listene3d to yours...the last I listened. sorry didn't mean you or your playing at all.
In that case... Thank you! I misunderstood your previous comment. It seemed like you weren't enjoying yourself here and I prefer it when people enjoy themselves.
ok I am a drummer...but I do like to mess with my gretsch 5120...now my question is why do people want to do reviewes when they can't play well.....don't know anything about the guitar....is mostly talk that ends up rattling on and on ...I'm not one to talk..again I am a drummer....but you don't see me doing reviews on guitars...just wondering.
I just ordered my Gretsch 5120 !
I'm gonna have it soon, I can't wait !
Sure I'll try to play jazzy things !

what would you say is the highest fret you can reach comfortably?
I was reffering to whole Green Onions song, but nevermind, just watching you play is awesome :)
Nice technique
I played green onions at the age of 8.

I don't get the point you are trying to make. If you don't like my playing then don't come here to listen. This is not a guitar review
wonderful gretsch
