It's illegal to explain a heist without this song playing in the background.
It's also illegal to get into an immature insult battle with the other baseball team without this song in the background.

Wats the plan boss
This is a song you can go to the bar and play 10 times in a row and no one will complain.
And then play "Mo' Green Onions" 10 times after that
I second that!!
I'm a listen-to-this-song-10-times-in-a-row type of enjoyer, but even I can recognize advice that will get you thrown out by the entire patronage of whatever bar you choose to pull that stunt in 🤣

I am 72. Green Onions was released on my eleventh birthday.
Loved it then, loving it still.
Blucher?
Solid.
Miss Wanda I was born in 1951 and this was some of the very best music ever recorded I think to this day nothing can even come close to our music in those days if so I haven’t heard it!
You have a wonderful day!
Also 72 my older brother used to play this.
I'm 72 also. So we were 10 when that incredible music landed in our brain and helped us to wait for Wilson Picket, Otis Redding, the Four Tops, Queen Aretha, The Supremes, Rufus Thomas, The Markets, Sam & Dave, Eddy Floyd, Isaac Hayes and so many others great singers. 🤩
My go-to song when my friends force me to sign up for karaoke.
ROFL !!!!
Bahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
Those grunts are tricky!
Can I bring my guitar and amp to Karaoke?

It’s a Summer’s night. I'm driving down a country road in my 68 Camaro coming back from a car show looking out the window at the full moon in the sky. I’m chilling listening to this song on the radio. The vibe is good and I’m smiling away to myself. That day was a good day, not that anything significant happened but it’s the little things in life.
Gotta love the fast car ride stories while listening to Green Onions 1968 soft yellow and black hardtop coronet 440

Hone your talent.
Quit patronizing.
One of my faves when I was in the. service. Time is tight also awesome
I remember my mom playing this song on Saturday mornings on Rochester NY’s WDKX radio station. This was one of her favorites. I just lost her two days ago. Rest in eternal peace, Mom. I love you, forever and a day ♥️
I am so very sorry for your loss, ma'am. Your mom sounds like one awesome lady who left some good memories, withal. My best wishes to you, Regina Wynn, for all the good days yet to come.
Sorry for your loss... :(
Thank you for your kind words; so warm and truly appreciated. 🌺
She was a very unique woman...my first teacher. Feels like I’m learning even more now that she’s gone; kind of bittersweet.
Ahhh.. Regina, may your Mom rest in peace and you cherish her memory and the music.
This song makes my dog howl to the sky. The only other one he reacts to like that is Riders on the Storm. The little bastard has good taste!

Thanks for sharing Mike! My Dad made me a music head, as he could play piano, organ, guitar, harmonica, accordian and sing! He's been gone about 35 years now, but the memories remain! Hang on to the memories man- it'll get ya through!! Peace ✌️

Green Onions. I'm a one man band on youtube.
Listen to the Shadows intro to the rise and fall of flingel blunt you recognise this anywhere you are in the world
Listen to into of the shadows rise and fall of flingel blunt you never forget that one music is abroad spectrum don't rule them out.
Sang it?
It has to be like the most generic jazz song ever.
This song never gets old because it's a twelve-bar blues progression, and there's something about it that humans just connect with. You not only hear it, but you feel it. The Hammond B-3 organ stands out, but I guarantee you that a well-played sax or guitar would also work well. You know, instinctively, what a twelve-bar blues is supposed to do, and it does it. Every. Damned. Time.
If there's anyone that doesn't like this, I'd check your pulse. You're probably dead.
Bad ass song then and not !😅

The Drummer is on fire with how meticulous he is in command with such a snare! Great recording.
The organ is in full command of this one musically, the drums always provide the bones but here a nice straight spine is all that's needed. It takes more discipline to play this after learning to play far more complex and "commanding" drums. That's the beauty in the drums here. He's following but providing the very road for the others to walk on from behind somehow, so in that sense he is still commanding or conducting. I found it amazing someone admires this drumming!!!!
