I appreciate your videos and they are a good insight into what happens in top establishments - this is my sector as well. I have an elephant in the room type question: aside from the clever camera setup which I assume is some form of Meta Glasses, how do you make it work in regards to privacy? Lots of patrons of these places are very keen not to be seen there, especially when they come with a different "friend" each night? Maybe Mr Gaja agreed to be on film, but I feel you're setting yourself up for a lawsuit filming left and right in public for personal gain like that - especially as being employed by the Savoy. Curious on your thoughts on that.
@@lariog31 actually we have a disclaimer in the front of the restaurant stating if you don't want to be on film, do not enter. I obviously am a human and always ask permission. If you see them on my videos, they've consented to being in film. Also went through all the channels for approval from corporate. 👌
@lariog31 overall it was an idea from both myself and my GM. Needed to start marketing for the restaurant. Figured it was free to do, and we just started working on it immediately 👌
Hey, I have a bottle of wine that I don't know much about. Maybe you could help me with. It's a 1975 estate bottled inglenook Napa valley. Do you know anything about it?
@Vegaswine it has been on its side. It was on a wine rack when I found it. I'm not too sure on the temperature control it was left at a vacant listing of mine.

I get what he means. The first time I ever drank from a bottle at the $100 mark was when my Mom bought an Amarone for Christmas dinner (we always had either Amarone or Barolo on the table in our family) when I was a super young child, around 10, and I was given a mix of it with water (still counts imo😂). Now at 21 I’m able to have those first memories like he had! The first bottle above that mark was a 2017 Le Bourg from Clos Rougeard ($400, obviously I should have aged it for way more but I was super excited and had a special thing coming up😅), and now the first bottle above that mark will come in a few days when I drink my first Jacques Selosse champagne (his Initial at $650). Both of these bottles were there to celebrate some extremely personal experiences in my life. Now in just about two months, when I celebrate my birthday at The French Laundry in February, the 2017 Coche-Dury Meursault and the 1989 J.L. Chave Hermitage we are bringing are each both valued at just a smidge above $1k! Please don’t think I’m here to brag, I’m just trying to relate to those first wine memories I think all wine lovers go through when they get their hands on their first truly prestigious bottle and are overawed🤩 I don’t drink wine at that price all the time as I’m sure Mr. Gaja does😉
@@Vegaswine Oh yes, trust me, the Selosse and the Hermitage (still waiting on the Coche-Dury) are in my fridge right now and I have to walk past them every morning when I make my morning coffee and the amount of times I have just taken them out of the fridge just to admire them, and hold them…let’s just say it’s a special relationship😉😂 Hey, I’m sure you must do that every day with your cellar. $1000 for a 2001 Gaja at a restaurant is very reasonable. A great bottle to be sure.
