  • Should have mentioned this in the video, but you get gold Relics at TL 40 or as low as like TL 30 through sim universe. Really though relic farming shouldn't start til you can at least get gold relics.
    Also of note this doesn't neccesarily mean a relic set is bad the thing with relic sets is there's usually a scenario for them like the domain I have bottom is, because Celestial Differentiator is very bad imo, but as we see with current banner Black Swan's best in slot is Pan-Cosmic Commercial Enterprise. This should be noted since that is a case of one relic being so bad that while one character has their best in slot you get so little from the other one that it's hard to justify spending a lot of time in that domain. Which is essentially the theme of the video. What relic sets give you the widest applications to be good on multiple characters.
    also added note vonwacq (world 4 domain) should be put in niche on second thought

      IL best set is imaginary, 4 piece musketeer also works really well on him, due to buffing basic attack damage. for WIND Dan Heng the best set is the new one, because he has a debuff in his skill

    good vid c: i like how you explained the sets and their uses with examples. i have a question though. im f2p, about to hit level 50, i haven't farmed any relics yet, and i was wondering if i should prioritize relics for my damage dealer (Qingque so quantum and rutilant) or sets for my supports first. my main characters are QQ, tingyun, pela, lynx, and i'm definitely gonna get sparkle when she gets here. and extra question i guess, which sets to prioritize when crafting relics with the remains (craft the set i'm farming at the same time or use for other sets)

    • @atmospherevgc
      @atmospherevgc  5 месяцев назад +2

      Okay so with gear i'd say in your case damage dealer first, and with crafting relics at the start I'd try to avoid removing gold relics, since they are important for relic experience, and honestly a little bit of a scam. (unless you like gambling yo), If you do get relic remains though I'd say priotize domains that you wouldnt farm much in the first place, and then with self modeling resin you get going for Energy Regen Ropes, as they are very valuable for all supports.

  • @generalalatusfallingin
    @generalalatusfallingin 5 месяцев назад +3

    Relic farming efficiency can be summed up into two words: IT DEPENDS.
    Each account is unique and players will prioritize building certain characters over others. Damage dealers should be the priority for any account unless you severely lack survivability and NEED to focus on sustainers. To make it easy:
    1. Choose 1 team to focus on for simplicity
    2. Pick 2-3 characters from your chosen team to save on resources
    3. Quick search character guides as they are extremely informative. Be aware! Relic sets and stats can be situational and may change character gameplay or damage/support capability (bis vs runner up).
    4. Find the relic sets that several to a majority of your characters can benefit from. You can consider future characters you want to pull for as well.
    Remember to enjoy the building process!! As tedious and frustrating as it might be, the work will be rewarding and your characters will thank you for it =)

      TL;DR: farm messenger set, every support wants to be fast so they get more actions, at least faster than your dps so they get all the buffs, and even just going for 2 piece messenger can just save you a lot of headaches when it comes to substat farming, 6% goes a long way, can't go wrong with broken keel when it comes to sustain, they would want quite a lot of effect res anyway, unless it's a dot team the crit damage is nice, but at the end of the day go with whatever has the best substats. Speed is the rarest stat to roll, so you can't go wrong with the messenger set, also 2 piece longevous is good on all healers besides luocha.

  • @esmondgoh3112
    @esmondgoh3112 4 месяца назад +1

    Due to the Quantum 4pc having def ignore, it technically can be used as a general dps set. So imo, it deserves the MUST FARM tier.
    Meanwhile, the Disciple and Messenger domain is basically best due to both of them being commonly used together for healers that scales of HP.
    Also, would like to point out that 4pc Musketeer + basic attack dmg increase = 2pc Atk + 2pc Messenger

    • @atmospherevgc
      @atmospherevgc  4 месяца назад +1

      Main reason I don't want to put Quantum up, it really depends on more factors than anything else, but it is easily the best where it's at by far. Honestly quantum might even deserve its own tier that's just how weird it is. Definitely one I shouldve explained better though cause man it is just so good.
      Yep aware tbh that part I still view 4pc messenger as so much better for supports even Tingyun that wants some Attack. Maybe this will change in the future though if there's a support with heavier attack requirements, or more dps like Lunae could also boost the set.

  • @VitorAntas
    @VitorAntas 5 месяцев назад +1

    Totally agree with your take on Wastelander set. It's good where it's good, but it's so conditional on specific teammates that the variety is hurt a bunch.
    I've been maining DHIL, and wow is Musketeer good to farm. His best sustain support (AKA Luocha) benefiting a lot from the Passerby set makes farming for two characters at the same time a much more comfortable situation. Having unconditional bonus damage added to his Basic Atks is immense because it pretty much let's you run him in any team configuration with any enemy weakness type.
    I wish Rutilant's skill buff would be applied to his multipliers on the skill-enhanced atks, but it would honestly be overkill with him already using the set as his BiS.
    I have a question, though; I've recently started to build Herta for PF, and am wondering about which set I should give her. Providing I'd run her with Himeko for a double DPS follow-up core, is Ashblazing the better option for both characters?

    • @atmospherevgc
      @atmospherevgc  5 месяцев назад +1

      Yea healer / musketeer domain is pretty alright, and to expain why I personally hold it a bit lower in text I did in another post so will put here "why I hold it a bit less now is with Healer I feel you get into this situation of actually overhealing, and the raw stats being better so it becomes more of a 0-cycle relic set when you desperately need an extra skill point in MoC imo, this is not bad at all, but it's something that does weigh the value of it down for me." Then with Musketeer 2pc getting competition from DoT set, and the 4pc seeing competition from Messenger of Hackerspace 2pc while opening up an extra 2pc.
      On the question Herta kit isn't mostly weighed on her FuA, and it's a close split between Ult / Skill / Fua all together so I dont really recommend it on Herta much, and Ice set is still way stronger though tbh with the constant FuAs you could prob justify it as a filler set for the sake of pure fiction it just isn't ideal for the character itself ever, but with that said Himeko can really be a great abuser of Ashblazing set.

      @@atmospherevgc thanks a lot for the feedback!
      Yeah, the raw stats do hold back Passerby a bit, but particularly for DHIL, the extra SP makes a world of difference.
      Regarding Himeko/Herta, I think I get it now; I'll use Ashblazing while farming for the Glacial set, as the former is easier to farm and benefit from in short term.

    • @atmospherevgc

      This can depend quite a bit, but for the most part stats. That said set bonuses even if the numbers look a little worse, can sometimes end up outvaluing even a good rainbow set.
      Really a bit of a math question since you need to compare stats vs the value of a set bonus. How I'd put it is something like average stats on good set > good no set > bad stats on good set.

    You do not want to put 4p follow-up set on Clara, Xueyi or Ratio. You only want it on heroes whose follow-up does multiple hits (ideally 8 hits), or you get almost no benefit from the 4p bonus. You can do 2p duke (follow-up set) and 2p of some other set for those heroes, but I’m not sure that’s worth missing out on the 4p of a better matching set like Diver for Ratio, quantum for Xueyi, or Physical set for Clara

    • @atmospherevgc
      @atmospherevgc  5 месяцев назад

      I think I said that, if I forgot though my bad, regardless good to have said anyways. Also this goes a bit into some of the concept of the video where sometimes farming for a "best in slot" relic can actually lead to losses for your account compared to going for a general use one, and trying to put the analysis more on gains together through the whole cast of characters. As ultimately relics are domains and you get 2 not just one, so farming a set where the gain is more general can lead to more efficient / better value at a whole. Which this isn't a hard rule sometimes if the value of one set is very much extremely better or you just really like a certain character then you can just focus on BiS.

      @@pixelrose_Clara is especially bad because her whole damage comes from follow up, so what you get instead is that you run out of improved follow-ups, and now you just have your Clara constantly overwriting the attack bonus, so you end up with just the 6%, so you would get more value out of 2 piece grand duke and 2 piece attack or phys damage, Clara is spoiled for coice too, because you could go for 4 piece longevous disciple for the crit, and you're not even losing anything farming this set due to every support wanting messenger anyway.

    • @atmospherevgc
      @atmospherevgc  5 месяцев назад +2

      The thing about this set, and why I hold it a bit less now is with Healer I feel you get into this situation of actually overhealing, and the raw stats being better so it becomes more of a 0-cycle relic set when you desperately need an extra skill point in MoC imo, this is not bad at all, but it's something that does weigh the value of it down for me. Musketeer 2pc is good, but it got competition in the DoT 2pc which has extreme benefit for DoT characters, and the same 2pc effect along with FuA set which is a very general use set that acts as a best in slot for quite a few characters. Then with Musketeer 4pc it sees competition with 2pc Messenger, to me though this is where there still can be quite a bit of solid appeal like with characters such as Tingyun that does like using attack stat a bit, making substat rolls way easier.

    I think that you rated it from a perspective of a long time player, which clearly shows when talking about planars, many of which have conditions that are basically impossible to fulfill in first few months of playing the game. So I find myself disagreeing with quite a lot of the ratings, as they quite often are heavily influenced by min-maxing which newer players shouldn't even try.
    My personal list:
    Must farm: Speed/HP, Quantum/Guard, Debuff/Watchmaker.
    Early game must farm (after that very good): Physical/Thief, SSS/Fleet.
    Very good: DoT/Follow-up, Salsoto/Belobog.
    You are entering late game stats: Rutilant/Keel, Glamoth/Penacony.
    Average: Lightning/Def, Ice/Wind.
    "It is more efficient to craft it while farming something else than actually farming it" tier: Healer/Wheat, Fire/Imaginary, Pan-Cosmic/Celestial, Talia/Vonwacq
    I think that I should explain why Thief is so high, and it is because Break Effect is massive in early game, and whole set being an extremely good temporary set for every character who isn't Ice or Imaginary, which is very basically majority of characters.
    Also damage reduction that Guard provides makes it an amazing filler set. and it can even replace some 2-pc options with the catch that you need 3 more desired sub stat rolls to make it better than whatever you had previously (with an added bonus of healing and shields being more efficient), but if you are farming Quantum it is only a matter of time before you get something that qualifies.
