In hindsight, i'd run w7 the same tier as w8, both are really good. w7 for more crit oriented, w8 for dot and crit oriented with good crit ratio. UPDATE: W9 is looking to be a niche set, Izumo is really good for Acheron, Welt, Ratio and Topaz, but no other units can use it tentatively. Sigonia is extremely niche for pure fiction, a mode easy enough as of now. Would rank as B tier for efficiency. Acheron Enjoyers have no other choice though, since Salsotto is also niche.
W7 efficiency is much better with Keel, won't make sense to farm for W9. Rutilant also holds strong for Jingliu/Blade due to Skill/Basic weightage@@Dado_nastro
@mrpokkee I need some advice. Currently my only 5 stars are: dr. Datio, E1 Gepard, Yanqing, Bronya, Welt's light cone, Black Swan, Sparkle, and Jing Yuan. I'm currently trailblaze level 60 and my only level 80 character is Black Swan and idk who to pull next. I really like Acheron, but my only good debuffers are Pela and Black Swan, on top of that I'm in DESPERATE need of a great sustain unit. I know Loucha and Aventurine are coming up, but i don't like Loucha and don't really care for Aventurine. How I'm asking for your opinion: do I try to get Acheron ( I'm on 10 pity with 50/50 ) while her banner is live and then if I lose the 50/50 get Fu Xuan in 2.2, or save until Fu Xuan gets a rerun so i can guarantee her. I also need to take into consideration that I also need Kafka for my Black Swan, Ruan Mei for everyone, and Argenti for me cuz he's my fav character. What do you think?
idk i still prefer hackerspace for my supports because hackerspace only require 2pc and can mix 2pc break effect for example ruanmei would like it. Or i can mix 2pc atk for my tingyun or luocha or i can mix 2pc hp huohuo, fx or lynx. In future there might also be 2pc crit dmg for my sparkle or bronya etc . 2pc feels more versatile than 4pc even if we totally ignore hackerspace's 4pc effect. if we include hacker 4pc effect, i think eagle wins out abit (tho hacker 4pc effect is a teamwide buff). but the thing is mixing 2pc 2pc is always easier for getting better relic substat unless we plan to farm the eagle domain full time, but why would we right? thie eagle domain dont even have good relics for dpses, but hacker 2pc can be used for dpses. We are forgetting that mixing 2pc hacker with 2pc atk (or any other matching 2pc) is a decent way to build dps as well, hacker is not just for support.

Fleet is really good for teams that have a lot of crit dmg and dmg buffs and low atk % like Ruan Mei and Sparkle. It's disappointing that he didn't mention that.
I would honestly say world 3 is B tier. It's never gonna be the best, but every unit in the game can use one of the sets. DPS use SSS, and supports and sustains use Fleet. It's basically the swiss army knife world.
To be fair thats the most tedious part of any gacha game that really cant be controlled. Best you can say is that it isnt hard nor takes long to farm relics
Yeah pretty overrated set imo. Good to have one full DPS set for when it does work but certainly not "farm this forever" tier. Guard is absolute dogshit too, even the 2pc is cope. HP% and DEF% are cursed to roll anyway so I never find that my supports need more tankyness, could just be my bad luck ig.
Its the domain efficiency that is being accounted here as well. 4pc quantum may be worse in certain scenarios but it is not 1 cycle less faster than the other sets. You have a use for the wuthering set as it provides dmg reduction as a 2pc then allow 2pc hacker for spd for all supportive units. Its a domain that benefits both Support and DPS
Yeah it's really annoying that everyone recommends it, like I get it, it's always second best, but if I'm farming for a character I want to main I'm going to farm for their best relics There's so few enemies that are both quantum weak and weak to the dps' main type to make it worth it
this is more for back then when most set effects are shit. rn its kinda debatable. also its sunk cost fallacy. both eagle and quantum domains have a useless set paired with it but since quantum is for dps they have to convince everyone that 10% ignore def is more worth it than 25% adv forward
After doing full 2/3 of energy refresh since the start of the game, I just take whatever the game throws at me whatever set it is because it’s hard to get a certain piece with good sub stats and main. I WOULD go beyond and get the recommended pieces for my favorite character tho but the rest they get whatever as long the sub-stat is godlike relic. As for rope and sphere world 8 is the best value to farm at well for now, just like what Pokke said.
Burnt down the kitchen on 8 over 7. Penacony is one of those sets that seems good in theory but you actually don't use it on anybody. Keel on the other hand I have on basically every support except Slow Mei.
Nah 4p quantum is not that good for f2p. You can’t just assume e1 ruan mei on every team and 2 harmonies is always better than using pela/sw for high def shred. And without those external sources having only 10% def shred as a 4P effect is ass. Definitely more of a high investment set that only shines with sign LCs and support eidolons as well as with ditching sustain for a def shred debuffer. For general playerbase I’d recommend just farming dot/followup and support domain for a good mix of 2p and 4p sets to mix and match
This video is perfect for newer players. I’m TB60 in about 4k exp so this was perfect timing. I am planning to get Jingliu so seeing the Hunter pack being ranked low lets me know it’s more worth it to invest in the Genius “Quantum” pack. Plus I was already slowly grabbing a couple Grand Duke’s for Jing Yuan.
The pioneer set is being slept on so much, like a lot. Its amazing for f2p's because of the ount of free stats it givrs and on top of that every dps path has either a debuff in their it or a debuff in a lc, although some might be harder to get than others. The break effect set is a bit more niche but break effect can be used by loterally every sjngle character in the game bar none. It may not be the best but its definelty worth using.
I like Vonwacq a lot on units like Gepard and Ruan Mei. It doesn't matter that it only happens once, it will allow Gepard to get his shield up immediately, and Ruan Mei can buff the team from the start.
Overall pretty good list but I have 2 disagreements. I get why messenger is ranked 3rd but it should be 1st. Every account needs it to build supports while not every account needs quantum set. Because of the amount of characters that need the speed it’s just better, and it also drops with disciple which works as a 2 piece on a lot of supports as well. Next is the new set which works better than quantum set if you use the 2 piece and have a reliable debuffer. You can run 2 piece debuff + 2 piece elemental damage and it outscales quantum. Besides that agree with everything else. Just think messanger is SS and debuff should be S.
When will people stop advocating 4piece quantum for Jingliu?? Lol I'm not gonna lie, it was good for its time yes, but it's too situational and doesn't synergize with jingliu's kit better than the 4 piece ice set does.. the 4 piece literally gives 25%CD after using ultimate, and in almost every single scenario, people who USE USE Jingliu know that 95% of the time you will always ultimate before you enhanced skill. Theres literally parts of her talent kit / eidolons that incentivize you to either 2 basic skill -> go into spectral mode(as shes going into spectral animation wise press the ult) -> ult -> enhanced skill. The uptime on the 4piece is always up. Then her kit says using ultimate enhances the next instance of skill damage used. Even without E2, you will still find yourself using ult before skill just due to how she works.... like the CD is up, every battle all battle regardless of the enemies weakness unlike quantum set. Even when you do not play jingliu in an optimal way, and use ult to go INTO spectral transmigration, she advances herself forward upon entering the mode and you then enhanced skill with the 4 piece ice STILL active. Lmao Quantum is mid af on Jingliu and will depreciate even further for her as more enemies that have ice weakness but no quantum weakness arrive.. It's not USELESS.. its just too situational and is NOT her best in slot and definitely won't be going forward in HSR either. Lol. Spend the time farm the 4piece ice, its literally made FOR her kit.
If you have 250% crit damage and Bronya you are oversaturating crit damage, and with Sig and Pela def shred is more valuable. Overall there is 1-2% difference between both, farm what's more valuable for you.
usually a well invested Jingliu will have over 250% crit dmg and have Bronya as her teammate, adding 25% crit dmg isn't going increase her dmg that much, while adding 10-20% def shred plus 12% from S1 and probably more from Pela/SW, it'll most likely be more valuable but then again, the difference between both sets isn't that big anyways
Quantum set is only meh on Jingliu if you're not using E1 Ruan Mei, or Pela on Resolution Shine. Everyone who mains JL knows ice set is her best set, but for trailblaze efficiency, quantum set is still king. Honestly, for a set that people keeps denying it's versatility to perform "mid" on X DPS and Y DPS, it sure as hell shows up a lot in discussions as 2nd or 3rd BiS, which is exactly why people says it's universal.
Other issue with Salsotto is the difference between it and Rutilant isn’t that big on a lot of its users. Both sets still give 8% CR and the difference between 15% BA/Skill Dmg and 20% FuA/Ult damage is not that big for characters like Topaz, Himeko, or Herta who still do *some* skill damage. Getting 1-2 more crit subs on Rutilant makes up the difference. It’s better to consolidate all your farming in 1 World and not farm at half efficiency, because the “BiS” set is not the best by a huge margin.
World 5 getting slandered that crazy when Prydwen had Pan-Cosmic as Black Swan's best 2 piece is crazy, as someone whose stuck in World 6 because good Salsotto Ropes are somehow a literal pain to get, I'm glad that there's literally no character I have that runs a different planar set, because farming sustain 2pcs is hell with how tepid doing SU grinding is crazy fr. I got lucky with my (future) Aventurine's Penacony 2pc at least
One thing that’s important for people to note is, if you run sparkle then your glamoth is shit because you are then running atk boots. There is only one sparkle tho. On the off chance you are someone who runs QQ DHIL on one side, you are automatically already not going to run speed boots hence losing out on glamoth special. So there is this caveat
For me FUA DOT cavern is at the top of the list in that it is Hella efficent. As I have both FUA and DOT characters and any of my units that aren't these two can take advantage of 2pc Prisoner.
Why is the reasoning for 4-piece genius as "if they release a high def shred character in the future it'll be changed then" but for salsotto it's "what's stopping hoyo from releasing non followup/ultimate based characters?", seems silly that its the same thing but a pro vs con for the opposite, especially since guard is a bad set as most supports don't need *that* much tank stats so something like 8% damage reduction is borderline useless the same way 2-piece belobog is, i would say keep them the same tier (a or b I'd say) since they both have the downside of being a "half efficiency" cavern/world
Hoyo releasing a high Def shred character would be way too broken imo, and even if they did I believe it'd be a year from now. There's a reason why Def Shred is in Ruan Mei E1, and Sparkle E2: it's just so good and they know they can milk players pulling for them. And if the character they release have 80% Def shred in their own kit, guess what? Quantum 4p will be even better. Def shred scales exponentially.

There's no way world 3 is D tier. It's usually never best in slot, but that's fine because the difference with other sets are nearly irrelevant (especially for space sealing vs other damage sets, which is generally a 2% damage difference at most). Very universal sets that work just fine for all dps and support. Also 4pc quantum isn't actually that good against non-quantum weak. Check prydwen calcs.
I really hope they let us farm specific relic sets. like both sets are still in the same cavern, but you can choose one on which one you want to receive on your runs. It's such a pain farming the pioneer set and end up having two watchmaker pieces on most of your runs. *sigh*
Pioneer 4pc is better than Quantum 4pc. You can place any debuff from any character that can has either Nihility path, DOT, Trends LC, and even from Weakness Break. You can activate the 2pc effect for every character at base level, you can activate the 4pc effect base easily and you only need to break the enemy to apply the full effect. Meanwhile, Quantum 4pc only works for enemies with Quantum weakness, if it doesnt have or if you dont have Silverwolf, that set is even worst than Fire4pc.
Good god i keep farming world 7 before, likely grind it again after finish building acheron. Even now broken keel is indeed easy to use at character support, to support crit dps team :)

Depends on your teamcomp. If you run Pela SW, your def shred is already at 100% so the Quantum set doesnt provide you any boost. Unless you run acheron with SW+Welt/Gui or SW+Harmony, but i still think the Pioneer set would still won by a slight difference
Sw pela resolution s5 is 103.9% def down (pela ult lv12), quantum serves 0 purpose. Can consider if def shred doesn’t cap out, still a great set for her!
Quantum set is only OP when you're getting other forms of Def shred somewhere. If you have no way to get Def shred and you're facing non quantum weak enemies, the set is just about 5.5% better than rainbow relics, which you will most certainly have better substats for. But basically, if your DPS is quantum or you plan to use Pela for a while (like with Ratio), Quantum domain is great. It also translate well into high investments as E1 Ruan Mei and E2 Sparkle have more Def shred, which exponentially increase your DPS damage the more Def shred they have.
You give 4pc diver to any dps as long as you have debuffer in team. I put it in herta for pure fiction. Crits go high. But the dreammaker makes this domain sucks but thanks to synthesizer, i can just create more other relic. Esp ornaments that not very easy to farm
i’m a day 1 player and free to play and i hate the relics so much. I have 2 characters that feel like their relics are done and i feel lucky to have that. The fact that relics get power crept makes them even worse as i had to refarm my dots team once already. I guess this is end game but it really feels bad to have no upgrades after weeks of farming.
Seeing some of the sets not being recommended: but isn’t set XXX best for YYY? Do you have a reverse list somewhere, one that matches every character with their best two cavern and best two planar choices?
It's really really hard to make a good relic domain tier lists because of how different everyone's accounts are. For me world 8 is trash, Salsotto and Rutilant all the way for DPS. I do think Penacony is a good support set in some cases, but you don't need that many pieces. Belobog good for Gepard, March and MC which isn't exactly an A-list cast but Gepard is seeing something of a comeback, and the EHR requirement is pretty similar to what Trend wants you to have anyway. Similarly the DoT and follow-up set is super low value for me. No Kafka, no Topaz, so that domain is also trash tier. I guess follow up is BiS for Himeko and Herta but they work well on other sets. Pioneer is prob new BiS for Ratio. I am going all in on Acheron and building Welt for her so Pioneer is now insane value tier for me. I think we'll be getting new units that really like the Watchmaker set too. 2 pc speed is probably the most universal in the game, and I have Blade so Longevous isn't wasted. I disagree that 4pc Eagle is a whale set. Sure the 2pc is useless but the 4pc is so ridiculous that it's worth farming. Hunter 4pc is tied BiS on Jingliu and Herta who I use the hell out of. Easily top tier domain for me.

Why is 4p eagle better than 4 p hackerspace? Eagle gives 25% action advance per ult only for the support and hackerspace gives 24% speed spread over the whole team. Isn't more actions for all including DPS worth more than more actions for just the support?
Problem is 4pc Hackerspace rarely actually translates into more actions because of its partial uptime. It translates into very little effective speed because speed breakpoints are calculated assuming you *always* have that speed value, so a buff that you only have *some of the time* provides way less benefit than its advertised amount. This is especially the case because most supports don't just run out their ult on cooldown but time them to line up with your DPS. The 12% speed on Hackerspace might only translate into 2-3 effective speed when you account for variable uptime.

Mr Pokke, gonna have to disagree with you on the pioneer diver set, If we're thinking of good value for F2P, then pioneer diver is really good value, if you check, you'll see that pretty much half the dps in this game do debuff, even the crit dps, it's really easy to farm this set if you find yourself using wind dan heng, welt, serval, hook, and everyone's favourite Doctor, so I'd say this domain has really good value as a generalist set.
Musket + Passerby is 100% F tier what are you cooking MrChokke. Healers gets so much more value from both HP/Speed sets and you basically get Muskets for "free" from Echo of War. There's zero reason to farm that cavern.
Is path of dreamdive really that bad? I feel like its a pretty universal set, and watchmaker is also good for the future, with break eff scaling characters like sam and also be buffers like harmony mc
The tier list is made with stamina efficiency in mind so specific sets only for specific characters will get lower points. Not to be 100% taken as "you must not farm D tier sets". Farm it if you have the characters that are good with it.

Okay, I need a couple of opinions here about the Quantum Domain. Is it actually THAT crazy, when I don't have Quantum Weakness and Silver Wolf (that could potentially implant that Quantum Weakness). Sure, 20% DEF reduction on enemies with QW is great, but when it comes to enemies that don't have that weakness type, I'm losing that 10%, so is it still better, let's say, on a Jingliu instead of a 4pc Ice set? Which DPSs in general really-really like the Quantum set over, let's say their elemental set (maybe not 4pc necessarily, but 2pc their element + something that they might utilise efficiently like 2pc Physical + 2pc FU for Clara)? ALSO, I really need some explanation regarding all the hate that the DEF Knight set is receiving. Isn't it like perfect for Shielders like FTB, Gepard, March and possibly Aventurine in the future? Same question regarding the DEF Planetary Ornament set. It's just crazy to me how it brings 0 value (according to Pokke at least), especially given the fact that I wanted to build at least a couple of shielders to finally have the opportunity to do a couple of Preservation SU runs
Regarding the Knight set, it’s like Pokke said-supports don’t need good substats. Once they have the right mainstats and enough speed, the marginal gain from improving their relics is really low. Getting another 5 Def% substats on your Gepard doesn’t make him that much better. KoPP is a good set but it’s a support set so once you have a decent set with Spd boots/Def chest, there’s not much gain from farming it more. Belobog set is bad because the conditional part needs 50% EHR, which no Preservation except March 7th is ever going to build. Planetary sets that don’t activate their conditionals are really bad so you’d basically always rather use Keel with both parts active than Belobog with only the unconditional 15% Def.

In terms of Planetary ornaments it seems pretty easy, either Broken keel for the squad crit buff, or some ERR sets, depending on the scenario. But what about Relic sets? Is it really about just whatever mainstats you can get, regardless of 2/4pc set buffs?

You either farm it for a few days until you get a Def chest and use self-modeling resin for the speed boots, or just use the Synthesizer to make your whole set. The set itself isn't bad, it's just not worth *farming* because getting better substats on it has very little value because all of the current users don't really scale that much with better substats,

Amazing tierlist i agree on everything except some things, here is *my opinion* . I disagree with world 4 its should be at least B tier , there are supports that NEED turn one to be usable and if you dont have good speed gear for then its joever or if your DPS has insane speed like Seele, you need this set or really good gear + because they start so on top over the rest they get the 2º turn really fast,a good example is Tingyun her with dance dance dance with that set is amazing, Pela also likes this set and some more. The 2º set is more niche, but there are characters that its not their best in slot but they can use it, so its unfair to put in on a tier that is just bricks. I also disagree with the Path of Conflagration sets, its should be C, the fire set is trash but the 2 pieces are good(the only thing its that today fire characters dont exist, there are like 3) but the imaginary set is really good for some setups, the 2 piece is good and the 4º piece even if the enemy is not imprisoned u get 10% crit rate + If you have welt on the team its free extra damage. Also you forgot that gepard exists and some golden hair snake that is coming, just saying for other 2 domains, specially with the SU one XD

I wish you could have considered the usefulness of the relics since not everyone have the support your considering on this tier list. especially characters with eidolon thats why you put some lower than they should have been since you considered that a character can do better than it. btw no hate intended, some suggestion for improvements

I think the big key factor is dot teams. They want their sustain / support to give them atk. Penacony is situational. Keel is bad for them.
I would honestly say world 3 is B tier. It's never gonna be the best, but every unit in the game can use one of the sets. DPS use SSS, and supports and sustains use Fleet. It's basically the swiss army knife world.

Yeah pretty overrated set imo. Good to have one full DPS set for when it does work but certainly not "farm this forever" tier. Guard is absolute dogshit too, even the 2pc is cope. HP% and DEF% are cursed to roll anyway so I never find that my supports need more tankyness, could just be my bad luck ig.

Its the domain efficiency that is being accounted here as well. 4pc quantum may be worse in certain scenarios but it is not 1 cycle less faster than the other sets. You have a use for the wuthering set as it provides dmg reduction as a 2pc then allow 2pc hacker for spd for all supportive units. Its a domain that benefits both Support and DPS
Yeah it's really annoying that everyone recommends it, like I get it, it's always second best, but if I'm farming for a character I want to main I'm going to farm for their best relics

After doing full 2/3 of energy refresh since the start of the game, I just take whatever the game throws at me whatever set it is because it’s hard to get a certain piece with good sub stats and main. I WOULD go beyond and get the recommended pieces for my favorite character tho but the rest they get whatever as long the sub-stat is godlike relic.
As for rope and sphere world 8 is the best value to farm at well for now, just like what Pokke said.

Burnt down the kitchen on 8 over 7. Penacony is one of those sets that seems good in theory but you actually don't use it on anybody. Keel on the other hand I have on basically every support except Slow Mei.
Yeah using penacony seems tedious as I am not always using ruan with jingliu.I use tingyun with Clara.

Nah 4p quantum is not that good for f2p. You can’t just assume e1 ruan mei on every team and 2 harmonies is always better than using pela/sw for high def shred. And without those external sources having only 10% def shred as a 4P effect is ass. Definitely more of a high investment set that only shines with sign LCs and support eidolons as well as with ditching sustain for a def shred debuffer. For general playerbase I’d recommend just farming dot/followup and support domain for a good mix of 2p and 4p sets to mix and match
But what if I don't have either Follow up Atk AND dot characters? Isn't that pretty bad in that's situation?

This video is perfect for newer players. I’m TB60 in about 4k exp so this was perfect timing. I am planning to get Jingliu so seeing the Hunter pack being ranked low lets me know it’s more worth it to invest in the Genius “Quantum” pack. Plus I was already slowly grabbing a couple Grand Duke’s for Jing Yuan.
The pioneer set is being slept on so much, like a lot. Its amazing for f2p's because of the ount of free stats it givrs and on top of that every dps path has either a debuff in their it or a debuff in a lc, although some might be harder to get than others. The break effect set is a bit more niche but break effect can be used by loterally every sjngle character in the game bar none. It may not be the best but its definelty worth using.

I like Vonwacq a lot on units like Gepard and Ruan Mei. It doesn't matter that it only happens once, it will allow Gepard to get his shield up immediately, and Ruan Mei can buff the team from the start.

Overall pretty good list but I have 2 disagreements.
I get why messenger is ranked 3rd but it should be 1st. Every account needs it to build supports while not every account needs quantum set. Because of the amount of characters that need the speed it’s just better, and it also drops with disciple which works as a 2 piece on a lot of supports as well.
Next is the new set which works better than quantum set if you use the 2 piece and have a reliable debuffer. You can run 2 piece debuff + 2 piece elemental damage and it outscales quantum.
Besides that agree with everything else. Just think messanger is SS and debuff should be S.

When will people stop advocating 4piece quantum for Jingliu?? Lol I'm not gonna lie, it was good for its time yes, but it's too situational and doesn't synergize with jingliu's kit better than the 4 piece ice set does.. the 4 piece literally gives 25%CD after using ultimate, and in almost every single scenario, people who USE USE Jingliu know that 95% of the time you will always ultimate before you enhanced skill. Theres literally parts of her talent kit / eidolons that incentivize you to either 2 basic skill -> go into spectral mode(as shes going into spectral animation wise press the ult) -> ult -> enhanced skill. The uptime on the 4piece is always up. Then her kit says using ultimate enhances the next instance of skill damage used. Even without E2, you will still find yourself using ult before skill just due to how she works.... like the CD is up, every battle all battle regardless of the enemies weakness unlike quantum set. Even when you do not play jingliu in an optimal way, and use ult to go INTO spectral transmigration, she advances herself forward upon entering the mode and you then enhanced skill with the 4 piece ice STILL active. Lmao
Quantum is mid af on Jingliu and will depreciate even further for her as more enemies that have ice weakness but no quantum weakness arrive.. It's not USELESS.. its just too situational and is NOT her best in slot and definitely won't be going forward in HSR either. Lol. Spend the time farm the 4piece ice, its literally made FOR her kit.
If you have 250% crit damage and Bronya you are oversaturating crit damage, and with Sig and Pela def shred is more valuable.
Overall there is 1-2% difference between both, farm what's more valuable for you.
usually a well invested Jingliu will have over 250% crit dmg and have Bronya as her teammate, adding 25% crit dmg isn't going increase her dmg that much, while adding 10-20% def shred plus 12% from S1 and probably more from Pela/SW, it'll most likely be more valuable
but then again, the difference between both sets isn't that big anyways
Quantum set is only meh on Jingliu if you're not using E1 Ruan Mei, or Pela on Resolution Shine. Everyone who mains JL knows ice set is her best set, but for trailblaze efficiency, quantum set is still king.
Honestly, for a set that people keeps denying it's versatility to perform "mid" on X DPS and Y DPS, it sure as hell shows up a lot in discussions as 2nd or 3rd BiS, which is exactly why people says it's universal.
Other issue with Salsotto is the difference between it and Rutilant isn’t that big on a lot of its users. Both sets still give 8% CR and the difference between 15% BA/Skill Dmg and 20% FuA/Ult damage is not that big for characters like Topaz, Himeko, or Herta who still do *some* skill damage. Getting 1-2 more crit subs on Rutilant makes up the difference.
It’s better to consolidate all your farming in 1 World and not farm at half efficiency, because the “BiS” set is not the best by a huge margin.

World 5 getting slandered that crazy when Prydwen had Pan-Cosmic as Black Swan's best 2 piece is crazy, as someone whose stuck in World 6 because good Salsotto Ropes are somehow a literal pain to get, I'm glad that there's literally no character I have that runs a different planar set, because farming sustain 2pcs is hell with how tepid doing SU grinding is crazy fr. One thing that’s important for people to note is, if you run sparkle then your glamoth is shit because you are then running atk boots. There is only one sparkle tho. On the off chance you are someone who runs QQ DHIL on one side, you are automatically already not going to run speed boots hence losing out on glamoth special. So there is this caveat
For me FUA DOT cavern is at the top of the list in that it is Hella efficent. As I have both FUA and DOT characters and any of my units that aren't these two can take advantage of 2pc Prisoner.
Why is the reasoning for 4-piece genius as "if they release a high def shred character in the future it'll be changed then" but for salsotto it's "what's stopping hoyo from releasing non followup/ultimate based characters?", seems silly that its the same thing but a pro vs con for the opposite, especially since guard is a bad set as most supports don't need *that* much tank stats so something like 8% damage reduction is borderline useless the same way 2-piece belobog is, i would say keep them the same tier (a or b I'd say) since they both have the downside of being a "half efficiency" cavern/world
Hoyo releasing a high Def shred character would be way too broken imo, and even if they did I believe it'd be a year from now. There's a reason why Def Shred is in Ruan Mei E1, and Sparkle E2: it's just so good and they know they can milk players pulling for them. And if the character they release have 80% Def shred in their own kit, guess what? Quantum 4p will be even better. Def shred scales exponentially.

There's no way world 3 is D tier. It's usually never best in slot, but that's fine because the difference with other sets are nearly irrelevant (especially for space sealing vs other damage sets, which is generally a 2% damage difference at most). Very universal sets that work just fine for all dps and support.
Also 4pc quantum isn't actually that good against non-quantum weak. Check prydwen calcs.
I really hope they let us farm specific relic sets. like both sets are still in the same cavern, but you can choose one on which one you want to receive on your runs. It's such a pain farming the pioneer set and end up having two watchmaker pieces on most of your runs. *sigh*
Pioneer 4pc is better than Quantum 4pc. You can place any debuff from any character that can has either Nihility path, DOT, Trends LC, and even from Weakness Break. You can activate the 2pc effect for every character at base level, you can activate the 4pc effect base easily and you only need to break the enemy to apply the full effect. Meanwhile, Quantum 4pc only works for enemies with Quantum weakness, if it doesnt have or if you dont have Silverwolf, that set is even worst than Fire4pc.

Depends on your teamcomp. If you run Pela SW, your def shred is already at 100% so the Quantum set doesnt provide you any boost. Unless you run acheron with SW+Welt/Gui or SW+Harmony, but i still think the Pioneer set would still won by a slight difference
But if your enemies don't have lightning weakness, sw might apply lightning weakness so the value goes down.
Sw pela resolution s5 is 103.9% def down (pela ult lv12), quantum serves 0 purpose. Can consider if def shred doesn’t cap out, still a great set for her!

Quantum set is only OP when you're getting other forms of Def shred somewhere. If you have no way to get Def shred and you're facing non quantum weak enemies, the set is just about 5.5% better than rainbow relics, which you will most certainly have better substats for.
But basically, if your DPS is quantum or you plan to use Pela for a while (like with Ratio), Quantum domain is great. It also translate well into high investments as E1 Ruan Mei and E2 Sparkle have more Def shred, which exponentially increase your DPS damage the more Def shred they have.
Quantum is BIS on Acheron at e2s1 when running only 1 def shredder + a harmony

You give 4pc diver to any dps as long as you have debuffer in team. I put it in herta for pure fiction. Crits go high. But the dreammaker makes this domain sucks but thanks to synthesizer, i can just create more other relic. Esp ornaments that not very easy to farm
i’m a day 1 player and free to play and i hate the relics so much. I have 2 characters that feel like their relics are done and i feel lucky to have that.
The fact that relics get power crept makes them even worse as i had to refarm my dots team once already. I guess this is end game but it really feels bad to have no upgrades after weeks of farming.

The lightning set was already mid back in the day but now all Lightning characters have their own artifact set that they would prefer over this
It's really really hard to make a good relic domain tier lists because of how different everyone's accounts are. For me world 8 is trash, Salsotto and Rutilant all the way for DPS. I do think Penacony is a good support set in some cases, but you don't need that many pieces. Belobog good for Gepard, March and MC which isn't exactly an A-list cast but Gepard is seeing something of a comeback, and the EHR requirement is pretty similar to what Trend wants you to have anyway. Similarly the DoT and follow-up set is super low value for me. No Kafka, no Topaz, so that domain is also trash tier. I guess follow up is BiS for Himeko and Herta but they work well on other sets. Pioneer is prob new BiS for Ratio. I am going all in on Acheron and building Welt for her so Pioneer is now insane value tier for me. I think we'll be getting new units that really like the Watchmaker set too. 2 pc speed is probably the most universal in the game, and I have Blade so Longevous isn't wasted. I disagree that 4pc Eagle is a whale set. Sure the 2pc is useless but the 4pc is so ridiculous that it's worth farming. Hunter 4pc is tied BiS on Jingliu and Herta who I use the hell out of. Easily top tier domain for me.

Why is 4p eagle better than 4 p hackerspace? Eagle gives 25% action advance per ult only for the support and hackerspace gives 24% speed spread over the whole team. Isn't more actions for all including DPS worth more than more actions for just the support?
Problem is 4pc Hackerspace rarely actually translates into more actions because of its partial uptime. It translates into very little effective speed because speed breakpoints are calculated assuming you *always* have that speed value, so a buff that you only have *some of the time* provides way less benefit than its advertised amount.
This is especially the case because most supports don't just run out their ult on cooldown but time them to line up with your DPS. The 12% speed on Hackerspace might only translate into 2-3 effective speed when you account for variable uptime.

Mr Pokke, gonna have to disagree with you on the pioneer diver set, If we're thinking of good value for F2P, then pioneer diver is really good value, if you check, you'll see that pretty much half the dps in this game do debuff, even the crit dps, it's really easy to farm this set if you find yourself using wind dan heng, welt, serval, hook, and everyone's favourite Doctor, so I'd say this domain has really good value as a generalist set.
Musket + Passerby is 100% F tier what are you cooking MrChokke.
Healers gets so much more value from both HP/Speed sets and you basically get Muskets for "free" from Echo of War. There's zero reason to farm that cavern.

The tier list is made with stamina efficiency in mind so specific sets only for specific characters will get lower points. Not to be 100% taken as "you must not farm D tier sets". Farm it if you have the characters that are good with it.

Okay, I need a couple of opinions here about the Quantum Domain. Is it actually THAT crazy, when I don't have Quantum Weakness and Silver Wolf (that could potentially implant that Quantum Weakness). Sure, 20% DEF reduction on enemies with QW is great, but when it comes to enemies that don't have that weakness type, I'm losing that 10%, so is it still better, let's say, on a Jingliu instead of a 4pc Ice set? Which DPSs in general really-really like the Quantum set over, let's say their elemental set (maybe not 4pc necessarily, but 2pc their element + something that they might utilise efficiently like 2pc Physical + 2pc FU for Clara)?
ALSO, I really need some explanation regarding all the hate that the DEF Knight set is receiving. Isn't it like perfect for Shielders like FTB, Gepard, March and possibly Aventurine in the future? Same question regarding the DEF Planetary Ornament set. It's just crazy to me how it brings 0 value (according to Pokke at least), especially given the fact that I wanted to build at least a couple of shielders to finally have the opportunity to do a couple of Preservation SU runs
Regarding the Knight set, it’s like Pokke said-supports don’t need good substats. Once they have the right mainstats and enough speed, the marginal gain from improving their relics is really low. Getting another 5 Def% substats on your Gepard doesn’t make him that much better.
KoPP is a good set but it’s a support set so once you have a decent set with Spd boots/Def chest, there’s not much gain from farming it more.
Belobog set is bad because the conditional part needs 50% EHR, which no Preservation except March 7th is ever going to build. Planetary sets that don’t activate their conditionals are really bad so you’d basically always rather use Keel with both parts active than Belobog with only the unconditional 15% Def.

In terms of Planetary ornaments it seems pretty easy, either Broken keel for the squad crit buff, or some ERR sets, depending on the scenario. But what about Relic sets? Is it really about just whatever mainstats you can get, regardless of 2/4pc set buffs?

You either farm it for a few days until you get a Def chest and use self-modeling resin for the speed boots, or just use the Synthesizer to make your whole set. The set itself isn't bad, it's just not worth *farming* because getting better substats on it has very little value because all of the current users don't really scale that much with better substats,

Glamoth world is good but im very unlucky with crits, speed and doesnt put mono element very often.

I disagree with world 4 its should be at least B tier , there are supports that NEED turn one to be usable and if you dont have good speed gear for then its joever or if your DPS has insane speed like Seele, you need this set or really good gear + because they start so on top over the rest they get the 2º turn really fast,a good example is Tingyun her with dance dance dance with that set is amazing, Pela also likes this set and some more.
The 2º set is more niche, but there are characters that its not their best in slot but they can use it, so its unfair to put in on a tier that is just bricks.
I also disagree with the Path of Conflagration sets, its should be C, the fire set is trash but the 2 pieces are good(the only thing its that today fire characters dont exist, there are like 3) but the imaginary set is really good for some setups, the 2 piece is good and the 4º piece even if the enemy is not imprisoned u get 10% crit rate + If you have welt on the team its free extra damage.
Also you forgot that gepard exists and some golden hair snake that is coming, just saying for other 2 domains, specially with the SU one XD
