Unfortunately they are rare now and I'm doing all I can to hunt down and cat h as many as I can before it too late to even find one because these are beasts and also a big part of my childhood especially since those KL52s u mentioned alongside LJ03s and LJ54s did the 142. Can't forget the Pulsar Geminis aswell, I'm hoping to get one of those at some point too, probably an LJ04
As I predicted a while back, I think this really is the best DAF DB250 Mason's have! Despite the gearbox issues up until 8:59, I am very impressed with how nice this beast sounds! I hope you enjoy the video 😊
@e200biscuit_AbzWorld Judging by the fact you are based in Luton, finding a DB250 won't be easy for u unless u plan on travelling far or if by chance one does a Luton rail Replacement, but as u probably know the closest thing u have to DB250s in Luton is the two arriva Voith B7TLs and the Grant Palmer Voith B9TLs and the one ALX400 Trident grant Palmer have too.
I seem to find that the DB250 Geminis (not FJ06s) are just as good as KCK, but I seem to find that no ALX400s and not many other lowlanders meet the standards of KCK! Great motor though like with any DB250 as you have said 😎
