- Sadly not in the Peak district, but this is s good stretch of road (A61 between Chesterfield and Clay Cross) to show a trident off.
This is a temporary addition to the hulleys fleet to help out while one of the Enviro 400s is being problematic.

I don’t miss much of my previous life as a bus driver. But I do miss driving Tridents. Always brightened up my day when I had a Trident to drive. That sound brings back good memories.

I'm going to be training to be a bus driver soon as I'm now on the training course with Metroline, any tips about roundabouts? Are you allowed to straddle two lanes?
Sorry for late response - I always straddle lanes. Best way to keep control of the road and stop yourself being but up!

You get used to it after a while. Alot of our buses here in Nottingham rattle way worse than this. A well placed timetable sorts most of them out 🤣
