I just did the FBI phase 2 interview this past Monday. My background is 4yr Air Force Officer & 7yr Real Estate Agent. I thought I did well, regardless it’s a 3/100 chance I make it to Quantico. Degree is Geography w/ GIS. Hoping I get good news in a couple of weeks.
Good luck to you. I think you have an excellent chance. If they interviewed you, and you passed, the remainder will be testing that is expensive to accomplish and is not done on candidates they will not hire. So if they do a polygraph and psych eval and background, that is good news.
@@federallawenforcementcaree9900 Welp….I also just got a speeding ticket 66 in a 45 going down hill/speed of traffic 20 mins ago…So maybe it’s back to the drawing board too…I hope they’ll still give me a chance.
It would depend on your assignment. Some do travel frequently and there are possibilities of being assigned to diplomatic missions as FBI Legal Attaches. Those positions are strictly voluntary, although if you are working, say, counterterrorism, you might be sent overseas on TDY.
One that you are interested in doing and will do well in. Obviously, some jobs are in high demand, such as special ops, but by no means are these required. Linguists, accountants, law enforcement/intel are all useful.
With obvious law enforcement background training. Absolutely, but moving to a Fed position, I don't think they'd let you come in as and be K9 unit straight out the gate.
It definitely would help, particularly I think with agencies such as Park Police, ATF, or even Secret Service. Oddly, DEA does not have any narcotics dogs. Why I have no idea, but they never have.
@@federallawenforcementcaree9900 i think im gonna enlist in the army as a 31k dog handler go border patrol then try to get into the dea or us marshals i already have my degree with a strong GPA (criminal justice unfortunately)
@@blakeraustad7674 That's what I plan on doing, but Air Force. Reserve after 4 years, Border Patrol then train for BORTAC selection. You should look into BORTAC. They do a lot of high speed stuff and have a K9 unit. So does BORSTAR.
Can you make a video giving more information about DEAs SRT , and SWAT. Do you know if there will ever be another FAST type team that deploys to other counties?
Are you kidding? The “good day” is the best part of the video!!!
Don't change the intro is original and fits you well "good day".
Agreed
These videos are so helpful, thank you. Keep the Intro….
Glad you like them!
Great video as always
Thanks.

Good luck. 👍

Do FBI Special Agents Travel overseas commonly? or is that volunteer-only basis

What job would you suggest to do in the military if you're wanting go into federal law enforcement?

Do you think a working dog handler would be good to get into a federal position like a narcotics or bomb dog etc
