Hey I am going to pursue scm from jan intake. What skills or knowledge do I require? As I have around 4 months time in my hand. I am going to take an import-export program. Besides that can you suggest something more.

Hii Michelle thank you for this video this gives a good understanding of roles that are required in the current market, I actually referred to urs and a couple of others videos in choosing supply chain management as a course and in also a good college ... So I got my seat reserved in Conestoga for Jan 2023 intake....I made a plan of doing well in the course work and along with that also finish cscp certification by the end of my second year program....I have already started reading SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT BY SUNIL CHOPRA AND VIR KALRA to get a good headstart, If u can let me know any books or material or even skills such as Excel to learn which will help me later on, as I have still 5 months on my hands (hopefully visa 🤞🏾 works out)...will be very helpfull.

Definitely, after study in SCM you can apply for some entry level positions like purchasing coordinator, junior Buyer, logistics coordinator, inventory coordinator etc.
you can check prospective job availability and plan your career. I would suggest check by yourself everything.
