    Points covered in the Video:
ESL Programs < 6 months - No PGWP; Pathway Programs are better in comparison.
Programs not related to your past education.
    Programs with Limited Job Opportunities.
    Training Program AKA Apprenticeship.
    Check your School is DLI.
Edit: This is from February 2024.
With the current changes to the Immigration rules.
    1. Do not join Public Private Partnership Institutes, as they are not eligible for PGWP going forward from September 1st 2024.
    2. Spousal Visa is offered only for students who are enrolled in a Master's Degree or PhD programs, not Post Graduate Diploma nor Ontario Graduate Certificate Courses.

These universities are now asking Indian students to come and attend and not to worry about issues between India & Canada. But these universities have failed to understand that it's not diplomatic relations which is troubling Indian students, it's actually Canadian govt who is harbouring terrorists which worries, who knows when these terrorists strike 1-2 students in the name of free speech. Once life is gone what to study and where to study! Universities really need to put pressure on Canada to stop supporting terrorism! What has happened to Canada!

Hi, I do not want to discourage you from taking that course if that is your passion and you have a prior degree and experience in supply chain management you will excel in that course and have an excellent impression on your resume and transcript. There is high competition in the job market now in Canada due to the influx of international students (20-50 years old studying just to have the coveted PR) and immigrants. In my case, I studied for the same Bachelor's degree that I graduated from my home country. As expected, I graduated with honors here in Canada because it is just a review of all that I studied before. During my internship, I received great offers from big companies even in the United States and Europe. But my priority is to get my PR so I stayed here in Canada. Still planning to move to the United States. Good luck and wishing you all the best in your journey.

About the colleges that dont offer the PGWP, we have to keep in mind that there are countries where not many people can get a loan (even less pay the full price at once) to pay those tuitions of public colleges/universities that can even be 20,000 dollars a year (plus demonstrate 10,000 of economic solvency). Many countries have average salaries that can even go below 100 USD per month.
When you choose a co op program you can have the chance to save at least a good part of the tuition if you're dedicated and organized, that's what most people do tbh. As I was saying from most of the countries ppl want to come here it's a dream to even be able to earn a thousand dollars a month.

    • @limatglobaltemp7181
      @limatglobaltemp7181 Год назад +1

Are you sure don't mean EAP (English for Academic Programs). EAP is not what you do before you get to Canada. It is what you do in that same college before you start the actual program. You don't require EAP if you have the required bands in IELTS. It is more of a remedial English program to bridge the gap or deficiency in your IELTS. Also if you are from a country that English Language proficiency is exempted but your grade in English in your high school examination is below the required level, you could also be advised to do EAP or you may be givenv admission for your program along with EAP.

His actual desire is to do something in the form of Mechatronics or Electromechanical Engineering but Applied Physics is the closest Uwinnipeg has. We chose Uwinnipeg because his brother studies there and because he could start in Spring. But the admission came late so he would have to plan for fall. Because of this we have applied for 2 year diploma course at a college as a pathway to a degree or advance diploma. My concern is whether getting a visa for a degree program in Applied Physics in Manitoba would not be easier than getting it for an Ontario diploma. Also can the presence of his brother in Manitoba affect the chances of his visa approval negativelv

Studying nursing in Canada is preferred. If you have a nursing degree overseas, you have to go through NNAS (National Nursing Assessment Service).

    Hi Yulia! ☺️✨
Thank you for this video.. it helped me a lot! ❤
In my country I have a degree in Business Adm and Accounting, I’d really like to study in a college that would give me the PGWP but my level of English is not enough yet.
My idea is to start my studies in Canada on a more basic course in the business area that will allow me to improve my English and after that start studying on a more specific course that will allow me to get the PGWP.. do you think it could work?!

I've applied since November 2022 to the university of Regina Canada, though I got an email from them concerning technical issues on December 12. So they asked me to resend all the documents I've sent so far. Which I did.So It was February 9 2023 they confirmed it that by second week of March I will get my admission package through my email ✉️. Is late already or I can still make it.

Are you kidding. All international students come to Canada and then ask the employer for help to become a permit residence. I lost a lot of staff because another employer said they can help them get permit. I helped one staff member myself. I just couldn't help all of them.

IS should be more careful when coming to Canada in general. If you are coming here expecting a flawless experience, then you are fooled, and wrong. Don't come here expecting life to revolve around you, and your third world tendencies. Thank you.
