- Is the Ducati Desert X too tall, too heavy, too big, too intimidating? Can you commute in the city on it, daily, in traffic? Let's try and find some answers on my office commute.
Styling wise, this should have been the direction the himalayn 452 could have taken. The Desert X is a beautiful machine. Thank you for this.
Very Similar design language minus the fairing
I sooo want it. This is such an awesome fusion of classic and modern design. But ducati is damn expensive and ownership costs are thru the roof.
That 21inch fuel tank MAN😅 couldn't stop myself to laugh. Anyways good video keep posting
Haha. Thank you!
I love this bike. Looks so damn cool
How brands give u bikes
Is there any qualification we need to have?
Do you work in NDTV
Nice review. How much does it cost on road?
21 lakhs.
@@abhinavbhatt Thanks Abhinav. Waiting for your Uttarakhand video. The state I am in love with. Recently I travelled Urugam valley, Niti Valley and Bhavishya Badri, Badrinath and many other small villages on Bajaj Platina. I know you'll laugh and I hope you can make a video taking this bike to these places as the roads are quiet challenging and I would love to see how this bike performs in those conditions. Thanks
@@bindumadhavpurohit7514 I certainly wouldn't laugh at you trying out these routes on your bike. Biking isn't about riding big/expensive/fancy bikes. It is about just getting out there with whatever one has. I'm just headed to my village so won't be able to do the places you've mentioned as I just have three days to get back.
@@abhinavbhatt Thanks Abhinav. All the best. Looking forward for your video on DesertX in Uttarakhand. Goodspeed
6 cars in 3 lanes 😂
Wtff is 21 inch fuel tank
I feel you're the one guy come under category where few people complementing in building right riding community in india. . .loved your explanation towards motorcycle.
Kehna kya chahte ho
Beautiful bike.. Nice review. In some angles, it looks like Himalayan 450 close to kaza brown 😊
They follow a similar thought process.
I think this is by far the best design among the recently released adventure bikes.
but Abhinav, the main question is will u buy it ? even if we have the Himalayan 450, xpulse(s, modded too), and all the kawa dirt bikes we have in india, I get that this a tourer on a dirt bike power chasis..but thoughts ? is it practical with the Indian market, the price it comes with etc
it is beautiful, but can u actually throw it down a small cliff, without worrying, like how we do it on the xpulse, will we have an Indian pol tarres in the aravalis on this one? :D
This White Ducati is one of the best looking motorcycles out there!
why do you have road markings? you do not use it. interrow traffic. move in three rows where two are put. you are crazy! Ducati Desert X fits perfectly in this flow. Because it’s off road.
All she needs is a 200$ de-cat. 2x the engine character and glorious L-twin noises get activated.
I wish I could do that!
The DesertX, Translap, Tenere style is peak ADV design.
We have the same taste bruhhhhhhh. I like the Tuareg too. It's overpriced in India But I like it
One good looking motorcycle but the pricing damn 😂
so help me clear my doubt bro
these bikes have cross spoke wheels and it is sold in india
why are RE taking time to release it
Because RE bikes are made here and these are imported. So the rules are different. RE will need certification to sell wheels it imports.
This or africa twin?
I rode a friends desertx and the way you can grip the tank with your legs is just sooo nice. The termignoni makes this beast growl, add a rally seat and you can conquer any terrain with it.
I sat on one of these at the dealership. Felt top heavy to me, but damn, it is gorgeous!
Sitting here in B'lore. I miss Delhi NCR roads. Sooo wide....
I've heard some real horror stories about Bengaluru traffic.
@@abhinavbhatt haha...this year people ordered pizza from Zomato while being stuck in traffic jam 🤣....the roads are so damn narrow that even the main roads feel like streets and streets feel like gullies of Dharavi. On top of that those nasty potholes. Delhi NCR roads are the benchmark for India.
Let me record a footage of how to ride in traffic. I cover a distance of 17kms in 45-50 mins and the route goes right through the heart of the city. Maybe you're not a skilled rider. And nobody is forcing you to stay in Bengaluru. You came here to earn your bread. While I agree that roads are shit, the city grew at a pace greater than any other city I can think of.
@@NikhilKumarM I know this post would be coming sooner or later 😆...cheers man, I appreciate your enthusiasm.
@@NikhilKumarM Idiots like you are the reason things don't improve down in south this mentality of not taking criticism and accepting shortcomings won't help anyone anyways whatever helps you sleep better😂
❤wav 😍❤ great, love it👌 beautiful😍 byck
If possible, kindly take the Rally for some days as well for review! Anyways amazing content Abhinav! ❤
I don't think the Desert X Rally is available yet. If it ever is, I'll try it.
The bike looks top notch. And as usual, brilliantly explained.👍
🙏
How far is ur office ya ....
Great review. Those roads are chaos.
Suits you perfectly!!

I will.
@@abhinavbhatt thanks man 😁

All it needs a good running in

Which KTM?
@@abhinavbhatt ktm exc
@@josephstalin9481 of course not.
Thats a dirt bike bro
Explained in detail, easy to follow for enthusiasts and laymen alike. Kudos!
Abhinav: Imma "common Avg Rider"
Loyal Subscribers: He's Gonna Send it! As soon as he hits a trail
hahaha. Nothing like that. I will be very careful with this bike when I take it to the trail tomorrow.
@@abhinavbhatt
I Dream of owning it one day man!!
