  • Head gardener Troy Scott Smith explains the origins of the most romantic garden in the world, Sissinghurst in Kent, created by Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson in the 20th century. He describes the character of the garden, including the abundance of old roses, which are central to the style and look of the garden.
You can find out more about the garden and what Troy and the team do to keep it looking great all year in the magazine and also on Troy's exert gardening guides here on our channel.

This was lovely - thank you so much. Sadly, it seemed to be over so quickly - I could have watched and watched for ages. Best wishes from Lottie in Suffolk.
