The church board members removed my name from the church books. They wouldn't have a baby shower because I wasn't married. (I chose to not have an abortion. ) I'm still here.

I'm sorry they treated you this way😢 I would so love to be the change I want to see at church so we can realize that church should be a family

That was very cruel of them. You had made a mistake but you child was not a curse but a blessing from God inspite of the circumstances. All children deserve to be loved and welcome no matter how they have come.

@Simdumise My son is not in the church. When he and his then wife were having trouble, some church members became involved. One lady encouraged the wife to seek online "friends." The wife left without telling my son. She came back for the divorce pregnant. The church has never reached out to my son. Now, he wants nothing to do with them or religion. I'm heartbroken. My former daughter-in-law has said nothing good about me. Yet, I've sent her Christian books for her children and done other things anonymously for her new family. I treated her like a daughter. She still hates me. I still love her. Please pray for both of my sons and my former daughter-in-law and her family. Thank you

At one hand there's fear of reproach from society. On the other hand there's the freedom of choice. Not everyone is willing to pay for the consequences of their actions, but consequences will come whether we like it or not. The thief on the cross, though forgiven & saved in the last hour, still had to go through his crucifixion and die as a criminal. It would take tremendous faith to not to go through with abortion. But God is willing to forgive & to change lives.

If you've had an abortion and later repented and live a repentent life for Christ , when you get to heaven you'll meet that child. That child might ask you " whats my name?"
So think about it and give that child a name now and declare it to the Lord.

definitely a touchy subject, but she's having the courage to tell women that abortion should not be taken lightly which is counter to what we hear these days. Will listen to the whole thing
