Pistachio Cake with Rose Frosting | Mini Cakes

Less Sweet Buttercream Frosting: • Less Sweet Buttercream...
Makes 2-3 mini cakes
Ingredients:
Pistachio Cake
90 grams (2/3 cup) all purpose flour
1tsp Baking powder
¼ tsp Salt
35 grams ( ¼ cup) Ground Pistachio
60 grams ( ¼ cup) Unsalted butter (room temperature)
100 (½ cup) Granulated sugar
½ tsp Lime zest
½ tsp Vanilla extract
1 Large egg (room temperature)
120 ml (½ cup) Milk (room temperature)
Few drops of Green food colouring (optional)
Bake at 180C for 12-13 mins
Circle cutter for cake 2.5 inches in diameter
Rose Buttercream Frosting
75 grams ( 1/3 cup) Softened Butter (Salted/Unsalted)
1.5 Tbsp All purpose flour
65 grams ( 1/3 cup) Granulated Sugar
80 ml ( 1/3 cup) Whole Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
¾ tsp Rose Water
Few drops Pink food colouring (optional)
Decoration
Grey Fondant/Gumpaste
Silver Glitter

I just used this recipe to make these cupcakes!! This batter yielded 10 cupcakes. Turned out delicious!!! However my frosting was the easy buttercream recipe instead of this. Wish I could add a picture of my final product!

@Disha Agarwal you can use an 8x8 square mould instead no need to fuss over 9x7 mould.

of flaxseed oil+ 3 tablespoons water = 1 egg)

I would not suggest using oil since recipe calls for creaming butter and sugar, on which depends the fluffiness of the cake. You can do 1/2 butter and 1/2 oil.
I tried the recipe with butter and the cake turned out really nice. I wanted to use it next time in an icecream cake, so I will try half butter and half oil. Thanks for the wonderful recipe :)
