    Thanks Murph, I can not wait to get my hands on the Osprey, I live 17 miles from MCAS Cherry Point in NC and see them out and about training on a daily basis. I also will be getting the Harrier as soon as it drops as well! Great video as usual and can not wait till you do a live community fly with it, I will be there and look forward to more content from you as well, Sláinte! 😎👍👍

    I got this today and boy it is hard to fly !! A real challenge, I managed to take off and slowly move forward, as soon as I start lowering the nacelle's for forward flight she drops out of the sky !! I'm clearly not gaining enough speed and height, practice makes perfect !!

    The proprotors are connected by an interconnecting driveshaft system, that is set in the wings, they Start from the MWGB (Midwing Gearbox) and connect to a TAGB (Tag Box) through the Driveshafts, then from the TAGB to the PRGB (Proprotor Gearbox) by a short pylon driveshaft so they will always be connected. It's a bitch to work on, but it's fun. (I work on the Navy Ospreys)

      the nacelle thumbwheel on the thrust control lever moves to the right or left in order to adjust the nacelle angle (engine angle as you referred to it as) however it doesnt work in the actual model and if it did it would be too tedious to use. i just use up and down on the d pad of my controller and it works fine

    • @jonathanmonroy9174
      @jonathanmonroy9174 Год назад

      If on Xbox. Use the flaps up and down buttons for the cowls. Make sure you don't replace the buttons. Just assign a new feature. That way when you use this aircraft, you will be able to rotate the props cause the flaps on this are auto. And you will still be able to use flaps on other aircraft

    • @canadianrandolph2686
      @canadianrandolph2686 Год назад

      you'll tilt them forward to about 60 degrees until you reach 45 knots (at least you do in real life, and on an airfield.) on a carrier they'll do VTOL, and the downwash is intense

    That checklist is quite wrong compared to real life. And you would never rotate the nacelles with the thumbwheel to start. Always BFWS>Flt ready. But it's just a game. Its not DCS AHAHAHAH!
