That's so creative, but I can't stop thinking about how dangerous that idea is, though suggested by the "terrain" at that park in BB. I mean it's rather unheard of (for lil ol me) to 50/50 a cigar into a wallride & then transition 90 degrees into a board slide off the top... am I reading too much into the park design? Like what's that cigar for?
yea man that banger at the end had me worried... holy hell glad no one was seriously injured.. At Bachelor, we had this up flat box that shoots onto a landing that's pretty blind. I go with some decent speed, hit the box and land. Look up and there is this girl riding right in the landing trying to cross areas. I emergen-heel edge to stop, come in hot, wrap my arms around the girl and fall with her to my back, slide down the hill. She's laughing, she is alright. Her BF comes by all upset but doesn't say anything to me. I ride off making sure both parties are ok. Gnarly. Same feature same week.. no joke did the same thing, except this time its a little kid. I land, look up and little kid, split decision to try to avoid the kid. I maneuver around him but his head hits my chest so hard... thank god he had a helmet. He like wobbles and falls, lays there, starts crying. Parent goes an addresses the child. Parent knows they're in the wrong tells me the kid is okay and I leave. Point of my story I guess, is that things are so unpredictable, and it sucks when stuff like this happens. But being aware and being educated of park etiquette can save lives. Shred safely.
