Wow Barbara, I so appreciate that you came back to let me know that your family enjoyed it. That just made my day!!!! Air hugs to you and yours. Stay safe and healthy my friend!
I chopped up a couple raw chicken breasts and cooked in the butter for a bit then continued with the recipe. I also used the rice from both boxes.. helped to tighten it up.. great recipe! New subscriber..
Hi Friend, when someone writes to me, there is always this little insecurity that makes me hold my breath, until I read that the recipe worked out for you. lol I am so glad that you liked it. Thank you for the nice comment and welcome.
I just made this and found it to be excellent. But I kept the liquids the same and added mushrooms and replaced the Rice a' Roni with real wild rice and genuine Italian seasonings. I mean, as long as we're cooking from scratch to leave behind the processed doody, let's go all the way.
Hi Rosie ! That soup came out looking so delicious. We could use a warm soup in this weather. Thanks so much for this recipe. 👍😎👍❤️. Take care. Happy Holidays to you and your family. Hope all is going well with you. That would go good with some sour dough bread. Yum ! 👍😁
Hi Sandra, this is one of my all-time favorite soups. I think that you are talking about a country singer? I don't know him personally. Thank you for the visit!
@@RosieCooks I just got off work and made a stop at my local grocers, made the soup and it was delicious. It really hit the spot and now I need a nap. Thanks again
Hi Friend, I think Panera must have a lot of stalkers. lol This soup really tastes like the Panera soup. Believe it or not, I found this recipe on a little calendar that was sent to me by a local realtor. lol It's really good. I think you will like it.
Hi Laura, this is one of my all time favorite soups. It really does taste very similar to the chicken and wild rice soup at Panera Bread. Yes, I brought it to a boil, then simmered it until my vegetables were soft. The chicken will already be cooked, so you can judge it.. When your carrots are soft and cooked through, everything will be combined and it will be ready. I know you're going to love this soup!
Hi Friend, This recipe calls for one stick of butter. The butter gives this soup a lot of flavor. Honestly, it wouldn't be the same with oil. Maybe try using 4 Tbsp of butter (1/2 a stick). You have to remember that you will not eat this entire batch of soup. Usually, you will only have a bowl, which does not equal to the entire stick of butter. This recipe, as I made it, is very, very yummy. Good luck!
JESUS' plan of salvation starts with ACTS 2:38. repentance, baptism in JESUS' name, receiving the HOLY GHOST with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues. without it you're lost.
Speaking in tongues is one of many spiritual gifts. The absence of this by no means is a sign you are not saved. We are all blessed with different gifts as part of the Body of Christ. The plan of salvation begins with John 3:16. Romans 10:9 assures us - “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” If you are attending a church that tells you speaking in tongues- or even baptism is a requirement for being saved… RUN! People- check everything against the truth of God’s Word. Everything!
This would have been so much better if you had given amounts for anything (except the water). Sometimes it’s not that crucial, but still, you are claiming to be a cook and making a video. Garlic gets over cooked if you add it too early. It doesn’t need much heat to wake it up. Your half and half should be added last after boil has calmed down because cream separates when boiled.
Hi Carleen, I'm not claiming to be a great cook, just a lady who likes to cook in my kitchen on RUclips. This recipe came to me on a calendar believe it or not. One thing is for sure it does come out tasting good.
6 to 8 tablespoons of butter 1/4 chopped onion 1 clove minced garlic 1 Cup sliced carrots 1 cup diced celery 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 32 oz chicken broth 2 cups water 16 oz half and half 1 box Rice-A-Roni Wild rice (It is not a soup. Don't know why I said that in this video) 1 teaspoon turmeric (optional) 2 cups of chopped cooked chicken (1 breast)
Hi Kevin. The back of the rice box says to cook the rice until tender. About 25 to 30 minutes. By then, the veggies will definitely be tender, and the rice will by cooked through. Good luck!
I like how quick and to the point you are. I don’t have time to watch a 15, 20 min video I have hungry kids to feed and this video is quick and to the point thank u I love it. Subscribed 🥳
