The nod to the classic was actually at the end when Peanut goes in to kiss Jeff and starts his "sexy routine". By kissing Jeff peanut was going to "first base". There's the nod.
I was waiting for Peanut at the end, give a deer in headlights look and go “OHHHHHHHHH! I’m a dumbass!” With Walter in the suitcase go “at least you admit it.”
I was so happy to hear you do this, Jeff. Loved Abbott & Costello since I was a kid. But your rendition of Who's on first was top notch, and laughed so hard, I literally fell off the chair I was sitting on. Thank you, Jeff. Merry Christmas to you and your family. God Bless.
This was hilarious! The absolute genius of Abbott and Costello is that, no matter how many times you've heard it, it's still as funny as the first. Just try to name any other comedy routine that works as well and is as universally known as Who's on First. And it works in so many variations. I don't think I've ever heard a bit inspired by them that didn't land.

Very nicely inspired, extrapolated, written, and the fact he does both roles seamlessly is so impressive. I saw him live YEARS ago back when he was introducing Achmed to his act (and still using note cards! ). He was absolutely gold. My family enjoyed his act very much and raves about him all the time. My brother and I are big Abbot ad Costello fans, so this is so cool to watch. Keep up the good work, Jeff. Thank you very much!
IMHO, this is "Throwback" genius! Like Abbott and Costello's "Who's On First?", it amazes me that Jeff doesn't get his own lines scrambled! The writing of this was genius enough, but to not get them scrambled even once (let alone, every once in a while!) always amazes me, just as it did Abbott and Costello! LOVE IT! *Cap Tip*, Jeff Dunham (and on "Up On the Housetop" update)!
On one of his specials he screws up a joke and then he makes the character say wait a minute I didn't screw up you did! Even when he screws up he makes it hilarious!
An Abbot and Costello inspired routine is something I never expected from Jeff Dunham but I guess it still should have been under my radar!! I'm tempted to do that with my WiFi passwords now!!! This has to be the best routine he's done with Peanut!!!!!
Holy heck, I can't believe this Absolute Madlad actually managed a perfect update of 'Who's On First'. Hell, it might actually be better since the naming actually makes more sense this way.
Brilliant spin on a grand old vaudville routine. I almost literally died laughing when I first saw the A & C "Who's on First". Laughed so long and hard, I couldn't breathe.
Who's on first What's on second I don't know's on third Funniest routine EVER and has stood the test of time. Thank you, Jeff and Peanut, for the hysterically funny take off! And thank you for performing it without profanities. I appreciate it very much. 🙂 Merry Christmas to you and your family!
We all have gone through more than any of us should have needed to, and this absolute 'JEM' is a much needed way to unload and decompress, and I have to say that it was all I could do to avoid waking my wife, I am still having to dab at my eyes so the tears are kept under control, Jeff I would pay for a ticket to see you, hope your next trip through Branson coincides with the next cash influx, I need to fall out of my seat! LOLOLOLOL.
Jeff, you are aces, "Who's on First" has to be one of the iconic moments in comedy, thank you for the homage to one of the greatest comedy teams ever. Now I have to watch "slowly I turned".

I can tell Jeff loves the Abbott & Costello WHO'S ON FIRST routine.
who doesn't love that routine?
@@jordandill7863 It's comedy gold and I love seeing new takes on it.
I was thinking the same thing
Ah, this is a modern day version of "Who's On First."
It is and pretty impressive because he’s playing both parts he has very little time to actually breathe lol
This is exactly what it reminds me of!
Yea and it wasn't that great I mean if your sober but high on pot...that might be a different story... lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣☠☠☠
Yeah he said in his Netflix special he grew up listening to abbot and Costello. He did a routine like this in that one too.
You can always lean on the classics when your in a pinch! This is a good version!
Peanut is my fav. Especially when he gets in your face.
Like at 1:51 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jeff makes his little friends look so real I get confused when he makes jokes about him playing with his puppets!
By far my favourite duo...Peanut always is becoming "real"...love the third base performance

2020's: Peanut & Dunham

Actually it would be Dunham & Peanut. Straight man always goes first.
Actually it would read:
1950s: Abbot & Costello
1990s: Slappy & Skippy Squirrel
2020s: Peanut & Dunham
The World of Warcrafts version Whos the Tank is good also
Imagine Jeff saying, "I don't know" and Peanut shouting "THIRD BASE!!" As a nod to the classic

I thought about the same comedy routine by Bud and Lou. Jeff's revamp was genius. I laughed so hard.
