That joke is one of his oldest, and Jeff has admitted its not one of his favorites. That's why he only uses it rarely.
Jeff Dunham, more than any other ventriloquist in my opinion, really brings his puppets to life. Almost immediately you quit thinking of them as "puppets" and start thinking of them as real "people" interacting with him as a comedy team! Not to mention his sharp wit and incredible sense of humor. The man is truly gifted!

Certainly staged but hilarious regardless. When peanut grabs onto the microphone stand looks absolutely like a person leaning on one. This man is incredibly talented and very funny.
He actually makes you truly believe the "friends" are fighting back and forth or literally talking back and forth with Jeff. It's so real like love it completely!

What people often overlook is what he's done for ventriloquism as a whole. It was almost dead and he brought it back with a vengeance. Jeff Dunham and AGT saved the art form.

yeah and we got Achmed to thank for that. basically Achmed the Dead Terrorist became such a well loved character that people kept watching his shows and all that. i think 9 out of 10 people know him because of Achmed. and tbh. i am all for that

Definitely, in my opinion, the best ventriloquist. Loved when Peanut and Jalapeño talk in Spanish, and Jeff stops them cause he feels left out cause he doesn't speak Spanish. He went between himself 2 puppets in 2 languages. That's talent.
He is a brilliant actor. How he manages effectively to act as 3 characters at the same time and keep the reactions true to life is amazing.

I saw “them” years ago. Still as funny today as then. Jeff is so talented that you forget he’s a Ventriloquist and that they’re only characters that he brings to life. He’s amazing. I love Peanuts! 😉

Saw his show years ago. It was days before my sides stopped hurting from all the laughing.

My all-time favorite Jeff Dunham special was when he had Guitar Guy on and Achmed broke Guitar Guy who was trying so hard to not laugh onstage but Jeff couldn't, so he said "Don't look at me" which made GG break MORE. It's hard to find online but I never laughed harder.

That one had to be a classic I remember a video that went down exactly like this, Jeff Dunham was performing at a very small club he was very young at the time maybe his 20s or something. Who's winning the white T-shirt and a black tie I will tell you this peanuts laugh was 10 times more different than the one you hear now. And he used to do this part where peanut would laugh so hard he'd fall off his own stage. And then he would probably transition into the tequila bottle I also remember the old design of Jose jalapeno it was just a jalapeno with unibrow and a big old mustache no sombrero. It was hilarious.
I was losing it over the coffee stuff. From that point on, I couldn't stop laughing. My husband had to poke his head in the room, and ask if I was going to be alright. I told him I was listening to Jeff Dunham and he responded, "Yeah, you'll never be alright then."😂🤣
Comical genius. To be able to take any situation and play it, at an occasion even so far out he forgot where in the script he was and never break character. One could discuss who is technically the best ventriloquist, but without discussion Jeff has the absolutely best material. He even in live situations had people argue with his dolls. That's brilliant.
Honestly, he has made me laugh with his shows and his ventriloquism even when i feel like falling apart. Though i do thank my boyfriend for sharing Jeff's videos with me in the first place. Jeff is my favorite ventriloquist.

I love how Jeff can both make fun of himself through his puppets, and turn any flubs or unscripted mishaps into part of the routine! Any good comedian won't take out the outtakes, but take the outtake and use it for what it's worth! Doesn't make it much of an outtake, now does it!
That “flub” was scripted. He rotates certain bits and has had that one in his back pocket for decades.

I have to say.... He is pure genius. The time it takes to perfect each personality, voices, movements, then being able to go back and forth between himself and the characters.
