Many restaurants have floors that need this attention! Your feet slide along on their floors it's a real clue as to grease buildup. Dawn is my hero! But I grew up with Pine Sol before Dawn and it works too! Thanks for sharing.
My "red flag" for restaurants is if the dining areas or especially the bathroom has greasy floors. If the bathroom has a greasy floor, you know that they are using the kitchen mop for mopping the bathroom. That's a big no-no in my book due to bacteria transferring from one location to the other. It's a red flag that will make me never eat there again.
I worked in the tile business from manufacturing to the installation, and the quickest and easiest way to clean creramic tile is to use a solution of one part muriatic acid to sixteen parts water. Apply the solution and allow it to set ten minutes and then sponge or mop up the solution using clean water. The tile will look as good as new.
Keeping a kitchen floor clean is very important it reduces bugs like grain weevils. It's also crucial to store grains and flour in airtight containers. Not judging, he's doing a cleanup job of someone else most likely.
I work at a private high school and the teachers who get paid $60,000 in salary a year and live on campus for free. As a house keeper this summer I can honestly say their apartments and houses were filthier than what I’m watching you clean. I just think it’s crazy with that much money they couldn’t hire someone to clean while living in those places. As housekeepers for the private school we aren’t allowed to enter there homes while they are living in them only until they move into a bigger apartment or house or leave. I just don’t know how people can live in that much filth. If they only knew the actual respiratory dangers and other illnesses of whats in the air from leaving there homes filthy is mind blowing. I understand mental health plays a role but there comes a time to ask for help.
I just want to give you a hipp hip hooray for the water, vinegar, Dawn combo idea. It has changed my life! I even use it gor spot cleaning my ceramic tile floors.
That’s the same kind of “dry debris” I found under the stove in the house I’m currently renting. There was still a vomit stain from someone’s pet (I assume) when we first moved in. I’ve had to learn so much about deep cleaning a previously hoarded home. Your videos have helped a lot. Thank you 🙏
I sometimes avoid a spot in the house because I don't want my broom /brush to get dirty and greasy and don't want to by another just for the one spot. Any tips on how to clean out the grease from a broom after a job like what you showed (behind the cooker comes to mind 😅)
You’ll probably have to soak the surface with some cleaning agent so that it breaks down further, scrub, and use a removable mop head to clean it up. Essentially, you’re removing the step of using the broom to sweep up that area.
same, I don't want my good brooms and brushes to touch any greasy dirty areas... since I don't know how to deep clean greased up brooms/brushes and I kinda need that for everyday use 😅 If only there were less cloggy ones that aren't made up of synthetic hairs. I mean I could lay out some disposable paper towels on there soaked in bleach solution for several minutes and just pick it all up (with gloves on plus another paper towel) to throw it in a trash bag, but that idea seems too wasteful...
@@weneedmoreconsideratepeopl4006 bleach doesn't cut grease even tho chlorine is the best germ killer. Ammonia cuts grease the most efficiently. You can dilute it or use it full strength. Add it to a Dawn and floor cleaning mix, or just water. Don't mix chlorine with ammonia EVER.
My old broom handle broken half and had to get a new one, I kept the old one for the gross stuff even though it hurts my back a little but I feel way better about it lol
Yes! Here I was looking for shorts on the best way to clean my kitchen floors thinking I would have to spend some money and I had all the products under my sink including the pieces to fit my drill! Thanks a bunch!
Are we able to get a list of the products you used? I heard dish soap and water, degreaser. What's the name of the degreaser you're using? Where's a good place to get the brush for the drill? What brand drill are you using? I need all of these! Thank you! ❤
I do the same only I use a spin mop with Krud Kutter and Dawn Dish soap. It cuts the grease like it was never there. I only need 2 spin heads and do only 1 final rinse
What about disinfectants/sanitization, especially in a kitchen? I'm a kosher chef and can't fathom cooking in a dirty kitchen that doesn't smell like bleach. What do you use?
You REALLY need a Bissell Crosswave. It vacuums and mops (scrubs) which is just what you just did, but it would make your life so much easier and better!
hey Brandon! this might seem like a silly question but I haven't figured out another way to clean up the dirt line that is left behind when sweeping into a dustbin. the wet paper towel trick works for me but I hate having to waste it. do you have any tips and tricks for this problem?

The pattern of the floor makes the floor looked 'dirty'. Not a good choice for floor IMO
Yea it definitely has a dirty vibe already lol
Yeah I was gonna say, it looked like some of that already stained into the floor

industrial amonia at lowes, always works, half cup to gal of water, cheaper& faster than dawn.

You should of had upright floor machine instead of that contraption bending over like that causes back break

This may be an odd question, but what brand are your pants? They look like comfortable yet durable work pants.
You should use a squeegee to mop to pull the dirty water to one spot.
they sell scrubbing mops on amazon could save your back or ive used a push broom because ive got health issues and it does a great job also
Absolutely a beautiful job. Well done
New!? That's an 80's pattern!!

There might be an extention you could put on your drill if youre interested.

What do you think of using a floor squeegee like Auri?
Dreadful tiles, despite all that cleaning they look filthy … even though they’re spotlessly clean
The design on those tiles make it look like it is still dirty.
