🇬🇧❤️ I'm an ex smoker, my home was never that colour, I only smoked in the kitchen, or outside, but the smell lingers, I wasn't a big smoker, sometimes only 2 or 3 a day. But I know when I stopped I had to wash everything from top to bottom, curtains walls, furniture the lot. Got myself a steam cleaner, that was great. I felt sick watching the dirty water running down the doors, great cleaning. 👍

So amazing and satizfying! The smell while cleaning must have been awful though! I once helped a friend moving into a new flat. A smoker lived there also for decades. Even after priming an dpainting several times, after a few days the walls turned yellow again and the smell did not get away. We then used a special primer meant for bars with nicotine blocker and that did the trick. We have different kind of walls - we cant just wipe them down unfortunately.

What products did you use to spray on the walls and ceilings?

I tried 7 different ridiculously expensive cleaners and ironically, Los Awesome did the trick the best!

DID YOU KNOW USING EITHER SPRAY WASH OR HOME REMEDIED OF DAWN DISH LIQUID, BAKING SODA AND WHITE VINEGAR DOESES BETTER JOB. SMOKER FOR OVER 40 YEARS. WHEN DONE PAINTING PUT A FINISHING COAT OVER THE PAINT. SO THE NEXTIME IT WIPES DOWN FASTER.

Imagine if smoking does this to your walls, what it can do to your lungs

You don't have to imagine because I can tell you first hand, I have terminal lung cancer that has spread to my brain. I am 60 years old, 61 this November and I highly doubt I will make it to 62. The spots on my brain are coming quicker, even with radiation x3 sessions 9the last two within 3 months). Don't smoke and stop if you do. ☠☠❤

@@sheilaburger2138 The owner actually passed from cancer and I was hired by their realtor to clean it up before they sold it.
