- Hey Neko here. So this is my first Lyric's video. I love this song a lot and I wanted to show it to someone close to me who I thought would like it. And I searched on youtube for a lyric video for a long time and could not find one so instead I went to a lyric sight and gave the link yadda yadda, so I decided to make this video for the person. Anyways it does not surprise me not many people have heard of this song, ( I conclude this from having no other lyric videos)
Welp, I claim nothing of this song (as it says) Nor do I claim the pictures, (Got them from google search I might be able to tell you what I searched for some of them if you are interested.)
History of song:
So this song is a deleted song from The Little Mermaid. It was going to be in where Part of Your World is but this one was not as "enchanting" Thus they did not use it.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.
I think this song would've been better in the movie if it was during her time on land. Where she's in the castle watching Eric at night playing with Max. That would've been a perfect spot for it.
Oh my god yes so they can have both songs part of your world and this beautiful song in the movie!!! you are such a genius!!!
Well you never know the same thing happened with Pocahontas and the song ‘If I Never Knew You’.
its pretty good u should post more lyric vids sometime
I love this song
this song great

does anyone know where i can find the karaoke version to this D:
What did you search to get the pictures?
I think I might have some on my computer still. Is here a way I can send them?
Where did you find the song?
I am sorry I can not remember right now. I lost it because I had a computer change due to problem with my other. I wish I could tell you.
NekoSofi Oh, that's okay ^^ Thank you anyway
Rhiannon Jackman This song is from The Little Mermaid Greatest Hits. It was released in Sept 2013.
on dance and your in love where's the logic?????
The Logic? What do you mean?
Disney is the logic.
wow she sound like Ariel
This song was never intended to be any part of the original film or any follow up project despite a few internet rumors. The idea that it was is easily debunked by the fact that the writer is Chris Martin and the original score was written by the late Howard Ashman and Alan Menken. Furthermore the song did not appear on "The Music Behind the Magic" compilation which was bursting with deleted songs from various Ashman/Menken projects but had very few for The Little Mermaid. Finally, the idea that some have speculated that this song was to be an "inner voice" is debunked by the song's own lyrics which include "I would change who I am, leave the sea for the sand" . . . she would not be singing about how she "would" do this if she already had.
How ever this song as well as a few others were created on a separate little mermaid album that came out in the 90s. It's even on the little mermaid greatest hits album.
