- A selection of tunes from Kevin Murphy, Bill Corbett, and Mike Nelson of MST3K fame. With a fifteen minute limitation, this is as many songs as I could include, but there are many more. Sadly, Robot Knife Fight didn't make it in. Otherwise, enjoy as they destroy every kind of movie ever made: the good, the bad, the immensely popular, and the utterly forgotten.
Will never get tired of Kevin Murphy singing
Almost spit my coffee out at "Suddenly...a beer commercial broke out."
Suddenly, without a warning, a beer commercial broke out!
I just lost about 5 pounds laughing at "Dr. X is harvesting a tubewoooorm". Oh, man...thanks for putting this together!
Kevin jumping from James Bond to Indiana Jones in a manner of seconds! 1:03
Best riff in the piece: The Buffalo Rider Beer commercial!
It's in the beer, that's why it's yellow!
Imagine all the eagles pecking out your eyes.
was going to dinner with my mom last night, and she was asking me to identify a song that started playing on the radio and I starting quoting the lyrics to "The Summer Wind" song that Mike and the guys did.....THANKS RIFFTRAX! :)
I love "Jack the Giant Killer: the musical" and "Revenge of Dr X"
The biscuits in the army/they say are mighty fine/One fell off of the table/and killed a pal of mine/Oh, I have had enough of army life/Gee, mom, I wanna go home!
Thought of that when Rob Brydon said he'd failed an audition for Beowulf on 'The Trip To Greece'!
Sorry. They are (in order) The Happening, Casino Royale, a tiny bit from Raiders of the Lost Ark, Buffalo Rider, Birdemic, Twilight, Beowulf, Ghost House, Nightmare at Noon, Jack the Giant Killer, two songs from The Revenge of Dr. X, Twilight: Breaking Dawn part 2, and Disembaudio sings the last bit over the credits for the Wings Hauser movie, Mutant.
My girlfriend just got a little dizzy laughing at the "Ghost House" clip!
Disembaudio really pours his soul into that song, yowza
The Buffalo Rider songs are simply the best!!
0:44 takes me back to when Mike had to toss Servo across the theater.
This is why I wish they'd do "The 4-D Man"...I can only imagine what they'd do with that soundtrack!
Should have shown that movie instead of some dumb arty piece like "Overdrawn At The Memory Bank". 🤨
Kevin takes the cake.
That song from about 6:00 could pass for a Talking Heads number easily.
they're, trying to find, the perfect parking spot, wait, on the left, next to that hardware store.....uh!
lol
What movie is it from?
Disembaudio's song at the end of The Galaxy Invader is one not to be missed.
Jack the Giant Killer
Anytime Dis sings, I zone the f@&k out!
I hope that more of these types of vids are uploaded, though. Some of the best moments out of one RiffTrax recording is hearing MBK sing some ridiculous nonsense ROFL
When... you want.... the flavor of bacon in a dip
One thing about the movie that i loved is that there are clips of it during the credits of POD People. Also remembered the song from inception set to the Indiana Jones theme
the ending of this vid is hysterical
Oh yeah! I forgot that one. Would have used it instead. Got to find a copy of that movie. Thanks for reminding me.
7:08 The Ballad of Bo
itsacarride is starting to sound like a chemical compound to me now
3 meat heads staring 2 victems bleeding and a movie that just should not Beeeeeeeeeee!
Why yes. Yes it is. For who could live without the great epic of Beowulf being presented in video game format?
One Disembaudio song i really like is Galaxy Invader when he starts singing about Bunky Hart
Douche bagery, I'm dying here 😭
lovely! I don't know why, but I wanna hear Jon Anderson sing kevins song over the twilight piano bit, you can almost hear it!
' tear your HEART.. out of your chest..'
Which is the movie they riff and Bill sings "I got a little alien in me, it's as busy as a bee, gonna be my dinner guest, when it bursts out of my chest, cuz I got a little alien in me" Anyone know?
Alien
WIIIIIIIIINGS!!!
Very good, Disembaudio. Now, can you sing the Doom Song?
What is the song from about the parking spots on the left? It's right after the Beowulf stuff. What is that song? It was actually kind of cool.
True! Would have used it at the end if I had it. Bunky Hart!
I wish RiffTrax would shift its focus back on blockbuster (i.e Indiana Jones, The Hobbit, The Hunger Games series) riffs, and less on b-movies. Maybe they should do that for its 10th anniversary next year (either one of the following: switch between B-movies and blockbusters every month or do 1 blockbuster riff per month and any number of b-movies either after the blockbuster or between blockbusters).
It's got a lot of competition, but I think Kevin's Twilight song is the funniest thing they've ever done
+Holly Huffstutler Hard to argue that, though Car Ride and the Tubeworm song from Revenge of Dr. X crack me up every time. They all also did an excellent job in riffing the whole series--maybe because they truly hated it.
TMX1138 oh is that what you'd do if you were them, wow, neato
What's the movie at the 6 minute mark when they're driving around?
Oh, that poor Steinway being sullied by being in anything related to uh, that vampire movie. Dracula vs. Billy the Kid or something like that.
HAHAHA. The Rifftrax guys rule!
A list of the songs and the riffs they're from would be nice for those of us who are too lazy to look them up like me :P
0:43 what film is that from
Casino Royal's opening credits
🎵Don’t pay the ferryman, don’t even fix a price🎵
The last song made me want to die.
Sclasspsycho Me too! I was cringing so hard.
me too! lalalal!
Nothing will anger a huge misshapen anglo-saxon like rap.
It's called Ghost House. Dumb 80s movie. They did a pretty good job ripping it apart.
What are all the movies?
at 5:41....an old "MASH" reference!
