I read the entire Song of Ice and Fire series last year and I’m pretty sure I yelled “Portcullis!” every time someone in the books said it. Thank you Rifftrax. XD
It's like somebody said "Let's re-make 'The 7th Voyage of Sinbad', but without Ray Harryhausen, the sense of wonder and majesty, the production values, or the Hollywood talent... but we'll keep the wacky, fun stuff."
Favorite Moments: 0:25 "No, my beautiful portcullis!" 1:09 Kormaran 1:30 "The heck is the mustard?!" 3:50 "Did you pack a portcullis?" 4:20 "Gaunt's back!" 4:36 "Pendragon is d**k. Who wrote this?!" 5:56 Pendragon shocks Mike, Kevin and Bill! 7:15 - 8:41 "Be right there..." 9:26 Pendragon runs through a hallway high-fiving his light fixtures 9:41 Super Mario Bros Reference 10:22 "Release the vicking! We couldn't afford a Krakken!" 10:41 "We just got down there!" 10:47 "Up yours, Pendragon!"
Torin Thatcher, the guy playing Pendragon, looks almost exactly like Anthony Ainley's version of the Master from Doctor Who... except the Master never wore anything THAT ridiculous.
I may have written this before but anywho, their jokes were so on key with the expressions that the actors faces were making. This led to some really funny stuff. I wish more of the rifts were like this.
"Ah, the shadow of a chain is causing me to fall off this wall!" "Jack the Giant Annoyer." "Bury me next to Gumby." "Wearer of Elton John's hand me downs." "Jack the Barrel Avoider." "And Lady Gaga is born." "This way." "Be Right there!" "Light fixtures from the 127 Hours collection."
Nobody talks about how much whiplash you could get from being manhandled by a giant creature. You can’t just whip blonde damsels like that without serious repercussions and a lawsuit.
It's a one-night performance streamed nationwide, same as this was. Not that I'm complaining - there are three theatres near me playing it. But I am legitimately surprised they've never done an actual live tour, surely there's enough interest for them to pull it off.
I saw this in theaters with my brother, and he and I were both in tears with our sides hurting. This was easily the funniest thing we'd seen since they were on the SCIFI network.
I know I'll never get to see you guys in my life time. But I think you doing this and the recorded shows as well is really awesome for the Misties & newer fans as well who are able to see these shows. Love you guys. Especially curry Kevin. 3
I never could get through the Rifftrax to this movie, I found the movie's pacing to be excruciatingly slow. But seeing this makes me want to attempt finishing it again.
"You know these masks are really, really hot!" "Can we take five?" "Yeah maybe we can get a Gatorade and a straw?" "I'm about to pass out here!" "Ugh, we're supposed to get a union break!" "Ugh, oh god I'm dying!"
I couldn't help but wonder why the pointing skeleton feature went off then, when the hero's on the little minibridge right in front of the front door anyway. Hold it in reserve for when he's in a maze or a "Lady or the tiger" situation with two or three doors?
Just like the video, switching back and forth between the film and riffers. The film by itself isn't on disc, although it should be out when the remake comes out in March.
"Well, the Princess is in ANOTHER castle!"
I am deeply ashamed of myself for not thinking of that line.
"Be right there..." That whole section had me in pain with laughter >.
Don't forget Tom (Servo) and (TV's) Frank
@@davincent98 You're late Steve! Sorry... I'll be right there XD
Whether watching Rifftrax on PC or Phone,
Don't forget to seize the bone.
Be right there.

"Look, if you can't be civil, I think you should GO...." So dead!
Definitely the funniest line in the whole show xD Bill times it perfectly.
I mean, it _is_ a skeleton. Of course it’s dead.
"Up yours,Pendragon!"
"What kind of a voyage is it to be, ay Chubul?"
"I can't hear you!"
😂
" Im really happy for ya.. Imonna let you finish.."
"Release the viking!" "We couldn't afford a Kraken."
I didn't get that at first. (Hangs head in shame! )
My favorite line!
Hail the true stars of this film: Portcullis and Gaunt.
Amen. That is the sound of people enjoying the genuine article, live and in person.
It's like somebody said "Let's re-make 'The 7th Voyage of Sinbad', but without Ray Harryhausen, the sense of wonder and majesty, the production values, or the Hollywood talent... but we'll keep the wacky, fun stuff."
Actually they both have the same director, Nathan H. Juran.
@@WreckingWood
He knows how to make enjoyably wacky films.
The special effects in this movie are kinda great actually.
They got Harryhausen's team and half the budget.
Better then most CGI today....
@@Tareltonlives I think it was Jim Danforth who did the effects for this movie.
"Seize the bone."
The new "Seize the day".
Golden Corral's new slogan.
"Seize the bone"...
Golden Corral's new slogan.
Lol!
"He fell at the battle of Land's End"
"Died in the shirt department."
LOL

"The Princess is in ANOTHER castle!" I almost never got that far in Mario Brothers.
Be right there...has to be the best line in Rifftrax :)
“You’re late, Steve!”
I love watching the guys laugh at each others jokes when they're on screen. :)
5:18 - Kevin loses it at the hat...
Torin Thatcher, the guy playing Pendragon, looks almost exactly like Anthony Ainley's version of the Master from Doctor Who... except the Master never wore anything THAT ridiculous.
***** Still not as ridiculous as some of things Pendragon wears.
And wait Snake, you're a fan of Doctor Who? Who'd a thought. haha
I was just thinking the same thing.
johnhamilton08 His henchman looked a lot like DeForest Kelley too
Oh man I see it!
"Damn it, Pendragon! I'm a wormy sidekick not a mailman!"
I was thinking he looks like Antoine Lefay

Be Right there....
This was my favorite live event so far. The guys were in the zone that day.
I think this riff is my all time favorite.
"The princess is not there."
"Then where is she?"
"Well, obviously the princess is in another castle!"
"Look if you cant be civil I think you should go"
GAUNT: The "Norm!" of this movie.
Be right there.
"Seize the bone" - my new pickup line
CoasterKing Your new get-a-shot-thrown-in-your-face line, I think.
Everyone knows that Gaunt the Raven was the REAL star of the film.
Next time i see the crow at the dumpster out back at work i am gonna yell "hey, Gaunt's back"
Nobody talks about how much whiplash you could get from being manhandled by a giant creature. You can’t just whip blonde damsels like that without serious repercussions and a lawsuit.
"Bury me next to Gumby" how does he know Gumby's dead?
He’s guessing
"Your princess is in another castle." Priceless!
One of my favourites!
Hey Frank. Glad it's you!
1:58 Jack the Giant Annoyer!
Be right there!
"Your majesty, I'm really happy for you and Imma let you finish, but-"
LMFAO that was friggin excellent XD!!!!

They were showing this movie on Turner Classic Movies this afternoon, but all I could think of when I saw it was this Rifftrax Live version.......
Those monster outfits were actually pretty good!
🕊It's kinda like the costume designers hit the nail, when they were just trying to stay under budget!
Be Right there.
This is gold, I gotta see the full version.
Garna, played by Rodger Bumpass
Three words, Princess: SEIZE THE BONE.
This is a great share - thanks so much for this. Big ups to Rifftrax and all that they do.
BE RIGHT THERE
That wasn't Gaunt. That was the Crebaine from Dunland.
Saw this gem in theaters.
Be right there...oh, hey Gary.
we couldn't afford a kraken for this comment section
Light fixtures from the 127 Hours collection.
*collective groan*

Now I enjoy the movie, right when the ship scene starts the film gets better.
I remember going to the movie theater with my family to see this. Worth every dime!
genius, I enjoyed this so much
"Be right there..."
Don't you just love stop motion animation? I do.
Seize the bone.
2:42 doesn't Jack look a little like Paul Rudd?

I really wish they'd do a tour.
I loved this one! Looking forward to the live riff of Manos!!!
Love Kevin Murphy's reaction at 5:20

Forgot the best part when the imp says "off to make a quick stop in Mobile, Alabama then off to Ireland" 😂
5:09 Perfectly cut bucket
5:28 What is Tom Servo doing casting spells on that woman?
6:37 -- I can confirm that for some reason.
LOL
4:51 This is the tale, of Captain Jack Sparrow! XD
PS 7:15 Be rite there
“Be right there.”
“You’re late, Steve!”
Up yours Pendragon !
I think this may be my favorite Rifftrax
Just imagine if they had to riff the "musical" version...
I'm totally buying this in a week
Thanks! That explain the audience's reaction!
"Pendragon is a dick" - who wrote this?!
"well our princess is in ANOTHER castle!" perfect
Be right there!😂😂
Portculliiiiss!!
Indeed. I haven't bought tickets yet - gonna wait a few weeks.
Yep.
..........Be rite, there!
WHERE THE HELL IS THE MUSTARD?!? *punch*
Let's look at your giant. XD
Why did the audience object to the 127 hour candle joke?
This will be the first time I've bought tickets in years. I cant' believe it took "Manos" to get me into a theater.
"Light Fixtures from the 127 hours collection"
Took me a minute to get that one. Ouch.
Wait a minute! Is that Bart Fargo from Danger Death Ray??!!
Nope. This guy they hired from Seventh Voyage of Sinbad, which this movie is shamelessly ripping off
Bup-a-dup-a-duh-ba!
Just like the video, switching back and forth between the film and riffers.
The film by itself isn't on disc, although it should be out when the remake comes out in March.
I always pack a portcullis everywhere I go.
Who doesn’t
SEIZE THE BONE.
