Normally you can only barely hear parts of this conversation in the background. Luckily for this scene, every individual line has its own sound file.
I cannot do this for a certain speech in the background during Chapter 5's ending unfortunately. All the voiced dialogue for that scene is saved in a giant 7 minute long .wav file. So the only way to get that speech is to do some manual sound removal, which all my best attempts just end up with a muffled mess. Игры
That's hysterical they wrote and recorded an entire conversation just for background noise.
Lanz is trying so hard to calm down Manana but Riku riling her up. 😆
No matter which side lanz is. Riku will always side againt him
Manana: That awful! False accusation! Not even Manana ever stoop to such crude vulgar behavior!
Lanz: All right, all right, we get it, just chill out already.
Manana: Manana refuse to become frosty! This now matter of honor and dignity! For starters…! Manana so victimized! Why nobody even consider Riku for culprit, hmmmm?!
Lanz: Clearly it wasn’t Riku. That guy barely eats at all, right?
Riku: Indeed. Riku practice ancient Nopon art of restraint. Manana do not.
Manana: Meh-meh? What that? Riku imply Manana is big glutton?!
Lanz: Nobody is blaming you here Manana.
Manana: Uh-uh! Heavy implied! Ears of Manana hear it clear, accused of being absolute greedypon!!
Lanz: Look, we’re sorry, okay.
Manana: Lanz can stuff apology! Honor and dignity of Manana left in tatters from vile and baseless accusation!
Lanz: C’mon, please, lighten up already…
Manana: Manana not lighten up, even if receive 10,000 Tasty Sausage!
Lanz: 10,000?! They go fuzzy before you ate ‘em.
Manana: Conclusion is not forgone! Manana can easily eat 1,000 per day! Best before is 15 days so alllll peachy!
Lanz: What now? Err… best before what?
Riku: Anyway, that clearly too much eat. Manana is bottomless pit.
Manana: Meh-meh! Whuh- Will have Riku know Manana is dainty eater!!!
Riku: Not denying.
Manana: Lies! And deceit! On this day of days, Manana will have retribution!!!
LMAO
I like the fact that lanz doesn't know what a best before date is
It's even funnier when you realise that Lanz (who _has_ a ten years "best before" date) doesn't, while the nopons (who age like wine) do.

Then again, the other five do too, but like Lanz, none of them know this at this point in the game.
This scene had me wonder about Lanz and Manana's banter instead of focusing on Noah and the gang's serious convo. I'm glad this was shared. Haha
Call me a weirdo, but this was possibly the most adorable interaction I've seen in game. This towering defender and a smol cheffy-pon just going at it with each other is everything to me
Manana is absolute crazypon
No, she is a cutiepon
She’s precious nopon
why not both?
Hippity hoppity, nopon stole my food property
This conversation is hilarious
0:29 INDEED!!!!
First of I have to say its awesome that you actually do all this work for everyone! Secondly, im quite a bit creeped out that this video was recommended to me, because just now while playing NG+ I got to this scene and noticed them talking in the background for the first time and was wondering about that. I mean its not *that* crazy this got recommended to me, but man that timing
Someone should send this to Chuggaaconroy right about now.
Just a heads up. It's going to be awhile before I have a download link ready for all the voice clips and I put up that "Stuff I Missed" voice clips video. I'm using a spreadsheet with all the in-game text to get the cutscene voices organized by chapter. Wish I would've done that in the first place instead of just making 1 story folder for each character. Also I'll have the Battle voice clips organized better too.
My goal is to have this done before Fire Emblem Engage comes out, but no promises because this is taking longer than I thought. Also I'm not planning on getting voice clips for that game as it'll probably get leaked and data-mined to hell and back before launch day. And personally I'd rather play and finish the games I upload voice clips for before I try data-mining them.
Stuff that I'm planning on doing after finishing XC3 stuff:
XC2 Bosses and Enemies that haven't been uploaded to Sounds Resource or RUclips
XC:DE Future Connected stuff and Unfiltered/Uncompressed Egil & Metal Face Battle Voice Clips
Dragon Quest XI
Oh my god I was hoping someone would find this
Ahh, this is brill, thank you for uploading it! I knew they were still talking in the background but I haven’t gone back to the cutscene yet to try listening more closely lol
1:04 lanz sounds so genuinely shocked here its hilarious
Thank you.❤ I now can fully understand.😂
if you put the background music with the extra conversation that's an official scene right there
I reeeeallyyyyy want the soundbite of manana saying "manana reduce to become frosty!"

It's "Manana refuse to become frosty!"
Still working on getting things organized. Hopefully I'll have the main party and some of the bosses up on Sounds Resource within the next week or so.
I'd payed attention to the background conversation before but it gets hard to really hear clearly, so this video is fantastic
the fact they actually recorded the lines instead of just mumbling or smth
God Riku and Manana are the best comic relief characters since Riki. I love the nopon but especially Manana is just unhinged
I was laughing the entire time hearing this because I could hear it.
I was losing my nutter my mom thought i was going crazy xd
1:03 The moment Manana mentioned Tasty Sausages, now I know she has to be distantly related to Tora somehow!
Nice! Thank you. Is there also one for the end of chapter 5? You know which scene ^^
I already mentioned it in the description. That speech doesn't exist as a separate sound file, so the only way to get it is to do manual sound removal stuff. Which I'm no good at.
Here's that file if anyone wants to attempt to do it:

This is a pity. That would have interested me the most. I'm much too bad to understand the words in between the babble.
@@katzenniagormotti4237 I feel ya. Trying to getting that speech was one of the reasons I started this journey to sort through the voice files in the first place.
But for whatever reason, all the motion-capture animated cutscenes use large single sound files that cover the whole scene instead of individual files per line.
But if you want to know what the Queen's saying, her full speech is listed in the game's text files.

@@MrBarnabasB Thanks. That's enough for me.
You should do Nia’s homecoming speech at the end of chapter 5.
If I could, I would've done it ages ago. It was one of the primary reasons I went through the process of dumping and sorting through the game's voice files in the first place.
Unfortunately, motion-capture (or "big budget") animated scenes use a single voice file that covers the entire scene instead of having individual files per line like the scene in this video. And that Chapter 5 scene is no different, it's just a giant 8 minute long wav file.
As for why the developers would do that for some scenes and not others, I have a theory. The standard animation or "low budget" cutscenes use some kind of AI program to do the lip-syncing, this isn't anything new as games like Fire Emblem Three Houses or any of Valve's games also use this technique. However, it appears that in the motion-capture cutscenes the lip-syncing was custom made specifically for those scenes.
So my theory is this: the developers used a single large wav file to go over those entire cutscenes so that the AI lip-sync wouldn't override their custom lip-sync animations. For more evidence to support my theory, if you run XC3 in an emulator and the game lags in a "low budget" cutscene, the lip-sync still remains in-tact. However if the game lags in one of the motion-capture cutscenes, then the lip-sync gets all out of sync.
Sorry about the super long response to a simple request.
I believe the script to Nia's speech is in the datamine.
Can someone please do this with Queen Nia's speech at the end of chapter 5?
Not possible. "Big budget" cutscenes like that one use large single sound files that cover the entire scene instead of having individual files for each line. So the only thing I could do was use ElevenLabs to reconstruct parts of the speech to mixed results:

@@MrBarnabasB Aw that's a shame. Thanks though. Edit: just watched it and even though it's a shame that we can't hear it very well, I'm glad to at least know what she says. Thanks.
