- Playtesting a GTA SA mod that transforms the game into Liberty City in the late 1960s. You play as a young Tommy Vercetti.

Synopsis:
Liberty City, 1968, Tommy Vercetti is a young thug who works with his sick father at the Portland Printworks factory for an honest buck to pay his lifestyle, but when a bad health period strikes his father, his life changed drastically with the opportunities offered by the local underworld capos...
This mod inspired by classic gangster movies, aims to tell the tale of the Harwood Butcher, Tommy Vercetti and his clique as he climbs through the italian mafia hierarchy in 1960s Liberty City, meeting various notorious characters such as Sonny Forelli, Salvatore Leone, Uncle Leone, Truth, Don Cipriani (Toni's father), etc...

I thought the same thing, too. Tommy's model maybe an evolution of Claude's. Tommy went thru tons of changes during development, too
The 1998 Liberty City map should be used to make more sense, there can be no construction of Staunton Plaza before 2001, or the existence of the City Ferry (replaced by the Porter Tunnel).
Callahan Bridge wasn't even built at 1998.
The only way to go across Portland and Staunton was the ferry.
I know it would be a pain in the ass to not have the bridge, but making map changes like that would be a boon.
I agree with this.
Then again, I understand that there is very few people working on this project. I'm sure that removing the bridge would be a more comfortable work if more people are involved in the project.
The Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridges were already built a long time ago by then.
Also, the big construction site on Staunton Island used to be full of buildings before Tony blew them up in '98. But I suppose that might be difficult to mod into the game since they never made a PC version of LCS.

I appreciate how the developers turn all the vehicles into classic cars from the 60s, in this timeline tommy is 21 in the video working for Sonny in 1971. Tommy in vice city would be 35+ if im correct.

This looks good. Is this standalone like what Barcode Studia did for Forelli Redemption?
Unfortunately not standalone. You will need a clean GTA SA copy for this mod to work, but the installation is simple.

Make a copy of GTA San Andreas on your PC. Rename the copy folder GTA LC Wiseguys or something.
Please download the mod from the URL in the video description.
After downloaded, extract the contents into the GTA LC Wiseguys folder.
Run the game .exe from the folder.
Tommy's head on CJ's body looks awful.
I hope they improve the model more, and using Tommy from the Vice City cutscenes as a base
