When this plane will be decommissioned, everybody will badly miss it. A plan this size, power and capabilities is unique. Best low level flight plane of all time. It proved this many times in combat.
what about the F111
@@brain8484 I know, its so hard to choose, both have their amazing abilities. F111 was also a great high altitude rocket, mach 2.5 and rumors of close to mach 3 by pilots and crew.
The nado in the first gulf war would fly 50ft off the ground, going over mach 1 and bomb airfield runways. Unfortunately it did cost a couple lives of pilots, but it evaded air defense and stopped Iraq planes from taking off.
Not necessarily 'the' best, but it certainly was 1 of the best.

It is an awesome fighter/bomber, nice speed and mobility, looks like a shark floating in the sky.. I remember when i was 7 and go with school in the base of Decimo Mannu.. I see that beast in front of me, that cabin with all instruments.. I never forget it ❤️❤️❤️

From what i know it is an air intake for the cockpit pressurization and the APU

già è vero è un cacciabombardieri ancora moderno l'aeronautica potrebbe fare un pacchetto di restailing e usarlo in secondo ruolo come appoggio truppe e attacco antinave che va ancora benissimo sostituendo gli amx
Da un punto di vista del ruolo è ancora un'ottima macchina. L'unico punto debole sono gli RB199 a mio avviso, poco potenti e abbastanza onerosi per quanto riguarda la manutenzione. Andrebbe fatto un aggiornamento in tal senso, se si potessero installare gli EJ200 sarebbe un'ottimo affare, motori moderni e già in linea sugli Efa.

The Panavia is a multinational development and construction consortium that includes Italy, Germany and the UK. The Tornado platform was developed all toghether and each country builds it's own.
Currently the official name is Panavia Aircraft GmbH and it's HQ is in Munchen.... not really British huh....?

How boring
The Tornado is a fantastic aircraft right from the start it produces a frightening sound, only those who have seen it take off with the afterburners on know what I'm talking about. Then its very low altitude autopilot system can fly this aircraft autonomously 13 meters above the ground at full throttle!! Soon even the last ones will be disbarred, a real pity
