It's coming along a treat. Never mind the negativity slingers. Don't forget reading lights for the bunks. Cheers from Bali.

I don’t think it’s necessarily negative comments, not on my part anyway, I would like to think it’s more frustration in that James could do so much better. An example being that he hasn’t fitted the ceiling yet, nor has he ran or even planned where he is going to have lights, sockets etc. I’ve watched lots of videos of other narrow boaters running cables then fitting the ceiling boards, cutting holes in wall boards and ceiling for sockets and lights, pulling the cables through etc. Like I, and others, have commented on, sawing a straight edge, and not using a straight guide, using a jig saw instead of a circular saw. He’s fitting bulkheads before the ceiling. Anyway, we’ll see how it goes.

@@boblawrence5011I agree it can be frustrating at times. Criticism can be constructive, rather than rude. It seems like some people only watch for that reason. It is James's boat and way of doing things. Cheers.

"Wing It"............. Seems to be applied to "Young James's" methods. Cant Fault the Lad. Its got me through to 66 years of "My Life". Keep it up Jamey Boy and "Sod It" it to All the "Saddo's" of the "Sad OH T'Internet/Internet" :-) xx

James, had you thought instead of a dinette, use a table that is from ikea. It has the chairs & the table is expandable. It would give you alot more room.

Those pocket doors won’t last 5 minutes with kids flinging them back and to!😮

James attention to detail (pattern on the wall) is great. ;-)
For a moment I was worried James followed the templet too closely (the notch cut), but it was ok. ;-D

Yh that’s cool, I went for push to shut draw runners for my pocket door idea, but yours looks like it’ll be sturdier. Good innovation man 👍

Could someone help me understand where the “saloon” is to be located. Normally it’s part of the kitchen/eating area. Could it be that the saloon will be located at the other end and will double as James’ sleeping area. ?!?!?

You are putting too much trust in CTone or sikaflex i think …. Both will fail with age . Mechanical fixings are the way to go i feel .

I’m thinking that just maybe using a tape measure and a level come handy for s pocket door. That top strip doesn’t look level at all.

What James needs is an identical weight assistant, and a pantograph to attach them to himself.

I don’t get why you’d waste your time watching and commenting if it’s something you don’t like. What a waste of your life. James is doing it his way whether you like it or not. I don’t agree with everything he does but he’s making content for us free of charge so I’d suggest shutting your mouths or ****ing off somewhere else. Constructive criticism is fine but sarcastic petty nastiness is just out of order. Maybe a few here are frustrated with shortcomings in their own life perhaps? 🤔

Totally agree, it's not like he has said I know what I'm doing, he's learning on the fly so yes people who have experience are going to say that's not right but instead of giving him constructive advice they feel the need to be 🔔ends about it
