Glad to see you back in the shop Cam! One thing I’ve used as a valve spring compressor on these type of engines is the box end of a wrench. Then you can use a magnet wand to drop in the keepers. You should definitely do more videos working on clunkers. I always love watching a clapped out bike getting brought back to life. Hope you’re doing well!

Hope you’re doing better Cam! Great video on this little 110, it sucks that someone took the valve spring compressor tool but it goes to show that things are possible without the correct tool!

Pro tip: When putting valve springs back in, take a spark plug socket and pack a balled up sandwich bag inside. Stack your spring, retainer and clips on the end of the valve, hold the socket on top and give it a good whack with a heavy hammer.
