The key to his comedic timings, which you understandably can't grasp, is that he speaks in Hindi but with Punjabi(Language of punjab) inflections. Everything he says sounds so much more hilarious and his energy that you pointed out is also something that we relate culturally to Punjabis(people of punjab). Punjabis have these bold, energetic, life-of-a-party vibe associated with them. (eg. like brits have the dark dry humour image associated with them.)

Yes, some issues are very close to people's hearts. For e.g. making jokes about putting up a temple in any random plot might be a bit insensitive. Given that temples have been demolished by Mughal invaders since time immemorial.

Finally the decision was made in Supreme court after so many years. Now the temple is under construction in the place of dispute and seperate, nearby, 5 acres of land is given for mosque construction. It was tense. On the day of the judgement the whole Uttar Pradesh was on high alert, police from different states, army personnels, commandos, a lot was positioned throughout the state. But finally this dispute is over.
And now It's time for *Gyanwapi Mandir* . 😌

It's because of the timeline also a lot of the jokes doesn't work anymore. Especially given the ram mandir dispute has been solved years ago so people are used to that. Even trump is no longer US President compound to that he is no longer on twitter where he would have made uproar regularly. Basically a lot of the things are outdated that they are no longer discussed in media anymore. Hence jokes don't land with the same weight it did the the time.

I'm sure they got all the jokes, it's just not that smart and funny. I was too looking with a straight face because I'm more into better and smart comedy.
His trump jokes have been repeated a million times in america, so they have less impact on americans.
Felt more like a newspiece rather than a humorous standup. The problem is with Rahul Dua. Though his content might be qualitative, his delivery is monotonous and speech-like with lack of pause in between.
Bassi, Akash Gupta, Zakir, Abhishek Upmanyu, Samay these all have good dialogue delivery and expressions.
