I love it there as long as it isn't too hot. The place is hotter n stink and dryer than a popcorn fart in the summer, otherwise it would be the best single track in Canada. There is a trail down off one of the lower camp grounds that has a hill climb challenge, anyone who is able to make it is asked to sign the book at the top. Very few have ever made it, I'm one of those who have not. Tried several times but could never clean the last hundred meters or so. Trail is long, very steep, loose, rooted, tons of baby heads and super thin with several corners. Need serious trials technique to conquer it. One of the places I'd love to go back to and will again soon. Good job on another great video.
I have heard about that hill, did not realize it was down at spring camp.... now I must find it!
It's quite a hill, not down at the bottom camp site but below the main one. The camp site in question is just a small offshoot to the left as you're going up towards the main staging area. It is hard to explain, sorry. If I had to guess I'd say about 3/4 of the way up the road. Once in the small camping area, you would continue on a trail away from the road and slightly back down away from the upper trails. You will see the hills entrance after a small valley. Damn I suck at trying to remember this clearly. You need to hook up with Dr Dave. He knows that place quite well and loves to ride there. You 2 would get along well, he is a great rider, has tons of time to ride and is always looking for someone to ride with.
Okay, I know the area you speak of, now I really need to find it and try it.
That last section looks so fun, you had a clean run on it too. Move to Canada, live in Murder Cabin, ride the best trails. Not a bad plan.
One flaw in that plan, these trails are only ride-able a few months a year.
@@PNWEnduro it's a cold world 😅
Great trail, perfect traction, love the challenging parts! Thanks 👍🏻
Thanks for another great video.
I need to plan a vacation out west. Ontario is just not happening when it comes to single track. Lots of shared ATV trails. I'm sick of mud.
I see snow in the distance...I’m almost certain that they are at the North Pole.
Great job. Great video
Another great video I've often thought about going up to Canada to ride and maybe camp I've heard a lot of good things about the trails up there
Come on up, I'll show you around.
Cool video, keep em coming! Reminds me of Entiat/Liberty area.
That's a great area as well!
That place is soooo sick I need to go ride there
Cool
Beautiful singletrack! Nothing better than riding late Spring high elevation PNW trails! Great job cleaning that last section, looked tough! Hey, is your buddy without e start running a trials-tire? Thanks for sharing the video!
@firffighter he has E- start just had a dead battery this ride, but no he is running a knobby, AT81 I think.
Awesome
Where in canada is it?
im surprised to see Canada so dry :D the carb sounds good . way better than what you get stock !
@Vegas RoManiac the closest town is known for being the hottest place in Canada so it's really dry there in the summer. We were lucky to see some moisture and have very little dust this day.
@@PNWEnduro I live close by in the Kootenays, this place looks awesome definitely want to make a trip this summer. I'm guessing this is in Osoyoos area?
@@PNWEnduro you know whats funny, i got a lot of people that wanted to race me based on what they see on the channel , and when they came , they got smoked ... so watching your channel , i wanna race you :D hahah and your friends :D and come home with my tail between my legs :D
@bolivianospk it's not near Osoyoos, I don't generally post locations publicly but you can email or FB message me for info if you like. The Kootenays are amazing as well!
@Vagas RoManiac let's do it!
Someone needs to make a go pro, with an inclinometer display window, cuz the camera never does the hills justice!
Yeah the wide angle pov makes everything look flat. 3rd person shots help give perspective to the terrain.
If there is a group to do enduro in Canada exellent. I'm suscribe 😍🤗🤤🇨🇦
I am from Colombia and I want live in CA 😋
Hey where is this place? That's a dream to me, here inItaly there is not too much space for enduro riding! sad, need to move to canada!
Man...those trails are killer!
Hey..are you looking to get the 2020 250XC or the 300XC?
Just wondering if you are sticking with the 250 or not?
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. About a new bike, well we will just have to wait and see.....
@@PNWEnduro
Fair enough. :)
Can someone Please inform where this place this? added to the dirt bike bucket list!!!
Sure, just email or msg me.
Where is this
Whats the altitude out there? Down here in utah the mountain single track is just finally opening up. And some of the best areas are still weeks out.
FJ_TODD this ride was from 3700' to 6200".
@@PNWEnduro That makes sense. everything above about 7500 is pretty locked up around here.
its a big country, where in Canada? did I miss it?
For several reasons, I don't post locations publicly. This video explains why ruclips.net/video/XWvkW6FyUcg/видео.html
So where is it? Not once did you mention where the hell this location is other than the mountains. Maybe put it in the description.
You will notice I hardly ever name locations in my videos and there are several reasons why I don't post them publicly. When people make the effort to contact me privately I share most locations.
@@PNWEnduro Maybe put that in the description as well. Either way i am in Alberta and am hoping this is close so i can go check it out. I don't know how to send a private message on youtube, didn't even know you could. is this rocky mountain house by chance?
Check my social media links at the bottom of the descriptions of each video for contact info. I'll be glad to help you out.
It’s Onion 🧅 lake 🤘
Is this the bear creek orv in Kelowna?
thats what i was thinking but the trails @ bear are even dryer and the terrain is less mountainous. would love to know where this is
Are you pulling back on the bars when you climb hills? I can get my weight back when sitting but I'm trying to get better at standing and I don't get when to have force on the bars or not. I need to learn to stand so I can keep more momentum.
Not pulling back, more crouched with my butt just off the seat.
@@PNWEnduro So you don't have your weight supported by the bars at all when climbing?
Not sure how to explain it properly, the steep hills are a balance of keeping traction on the rear wheel while but not getting your weight back to far and having the front end come up on you. I't's more of a loose grip on the bars and maneuvering the bike with your legs.
What’s the trail called I live in BC
hint- it’s near kelowna
I googled heaven and this came up...hmm weird. 😆
LOL, nice!
That bike sound very rich down low.
you didn't mention how you liked the smart carb, after the fix.
So far it's great. I will probably do a follow up report at the end of summer.
@@PNWEnduro will you be doing a follow-up or final thoughts report video now that you've picked up your TPI 250?
Will you be doing the race at this area?
No I don't think so this year.
Ive often thought about it but the combo of dust and 42 degree weather has turned me off lol, one guy I know said it was 44 degrees one year he did it, he stopped half way through the second lap and sat in a creek for 10 minutes
Fall in ...fall out...!
You don’t actually say where this is???
ruclips.net/video/XWvkW6FyUcg/видео.html
Sounds like heddletowns voice.
What i call primo is a little different then what this video shows
Riding off trail? This place will most certainly be shut down now.
That murder shed reminds me of the one we found in Manastash, last Fourth of July. Sweet riding, mate.
DMG, sarcasm? We were on trail the whole time.
PNW Enduro nuh uh. Saw you ride off trail to the murder cabin, then there was that other time at the place with the thing 😂
Shit distributor.... lol
For the most part here in northern Ontario we can ride or trail build anywhere on crown land. Nobody ever says anything. Most braindead s think Ontario stops just north of Toronto. Thank God cuz we dont get the tree huggers north of hwy17.
