You've always been my inspiration since years and i just can't explain in words how much you made me grow... I was nothing in start and now whenever someone says that I'm pretty good at painting I always remember you that my man Chuck lifted me from Mariana trench to the top of Mount Everest... Always keep growing may God always bless you ❤️
@@chuckblackart I'm absolutely grateful to youu! And i love every work of yours... You're my idol and everything in one I needed for my art practice.. ❤️
My hubby just calls it dirt. But there is so much more here in the rock's history, lots of wildlife and plants to learn about, and wonderful storms. I am so glad you appreciate it. Awesome painting.
He is a wonderful and profoundly amazing artist. But he is not the glory of "God." That's not something any person can manifest. Yah's Glory is perfect as he is. Mankind is far from perfect.
I felt that connection that you have with your paintings and while you are painting. You are definitely a very lucky man to find your dream and paint it too. You brought small happy tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for what you offer us.
I am 100% brand new, never painted anything other than an easy mountain mural on my sons wall. I’ve been inspired by a few artists on RUclips, and you are one of them. I love the Timelapse and voice over. I’m somewhat overwhelmed with all the information I’ve been trying to take in. The amount of brushes, acrylic vs oil, even all the different ways to hold the brush! I’m excited to starts my new journey, and I thank you for creating all this content.
Welcome to painting, my advice is to not overcomplicate it. I have loads of stuff however I only ever use hardly 3 brushes anymore and half of the mediums and paint I never touch. Find enjoyment in it and overtime things come to you and you improve
Your beautiful depiction of country I love, moved me. Pulled me in. I could smell the hot rocks and taste the high desert breeze. You are a formidable painter. Thanks!
It is absolutely stunning! Chuck you play with colors and light in a way I feel ill never capture. It's like the spirit of the scenery is there with you, guiding your hand to bring everything to light in immaculate detail.
I can tell you have an affinity with the light. It shines right through your paintings. I can see your visions through your light. You have a beautiful soul. Thank you for sharing it with us all. As usual I am in awe...
No words can express what your paintings inspire. Wish I owned every one of them. They are all special. We need a Chuck Black museum.!! Fantastic painting Chuck
It takes great discipline and patience to create this kind of art. You are truly an inspiration to me. I love to watch and listen to you paint such amazingly beautiful pictures. Thank you.
Your story telling alongside seeing you make your beautiful painting takes this to a whole new level I am in awe ... you keep surpassing yourself... thank you for sharing in such a beautiful way... bless you 💗
Another beautiful and inspiring video. Its a joy to watch you paint and to hear the story behind the scene. Thank you for sharing your talent with us 😊😊😊😊
Stunning. Thinking I should return to oil after years of watercolor. Oil painting makes more sense to my brain in terms of adding color in a positive way/
So beautiful. I am totally in awe. You amaze me. Thank you for sharing your insight, wisdom, motivation and for capturing the wonders of nature that often goes unnoticed in this crazy world we live in.
Let me make my comment before I read the other's... First of all, mate, I avoid all of the 'how to' videos when it comes to art. But I watched this one, twice, and I'll be watching it again soon I'm sure. Thank you. I want to say something else; The procuring of any image, that an artist seeks and chooses, photographs, makes up, remembers, sees in dreams and visions, etc etc is all the business of the artist individually. Personally, I never take photographs in preparation for my paintings, and I don't work from any photos ever in my work, I keep an open mind about how other artists go about seeking subject material and themes and I guess, messages that they're sort of sending out with their work. What I find believable is this artist's sincerity and veracity. He doesn't sound like he's exaggerating the timelines, the thought processes, his emotional engagement in the work; it's all there and I really appreciate his looseness and commitment to the discipline of academic tradition. I have at times tried to paint a grand landscape, just as fresh as the sun and wind and sweeping clouds and air right in your face. I don't think I've ever succeeded at that. I got different results and that helped lead me on my way but that's not important. This video shows the importance of underpainting. That is something that I always do. ( Except usually I use ultramarine) An elephant in a room these days, amongst so-called fine art artists, is that scores of realist painters are snapping photos and tracing projections and mixing by matching, and putting that across as original art. I have made many comments about this over the years but I'll just hold my rant and say instead that this artist appears to be designing, building, composing and resolving details as he goes, with his hands and eyes and not so much as a slave to the photo. There is amazing contrast, textures and cool/ warm relationships all over the place, and the evidence of the freshness of paint, the beauty of loose gesture is still there in the finished piece. It's not just all marquetry of transposition from an already known source. So this painting has something additional to what the landscape itself has. It has a human soul. Bravo.
Thanks David, I really appreciate the sincerity of your comment and the depth of it. Makes my day to be honest. I strive very hard to maintain the self awareness in what I do so that I can achieve what you are describing. So thank you so much for taking the time to write as I take it to heart. All the best, Chuck
Another beautiful painting, whenever I hear your voice it just totally relaxes me and the way you describe any piece your working on makes me so grateful of what we have in this life, its not money or possessions but being able to get out and see nature at its best, can't wait for your next painting and I need to start a new one
Your painting and words, in this short clip, Blow Me Away to tears. I've followed you for awhile now, but only thru your utube channel. Recently I decided to join your community for all that you offer to your subscribers. I am so pleased I did. Your full length videos capture and inspire me to push on with my own painting. Am a beginner! Your story of this painting brought it to life. Like you, I often find it difficult to express, n words, how nature etc affects me. trust me, your work does that for you! 🙏❤
