Hi Kathleen, loved the quilt behind you ! As always, your projects are awesome. I really like Quakers as well on smaller patterns. I have finished the Robin Pickings Autumn and Winter birds, just started the pretty Spring one. Another new start for me is In Praise of Pollinators with over 20 DMC colors. Enjoy your trips !
Thank you! Now I have to check out Praise of Pollinators. I don’t know that one. I’m stitching small quakers on this trip. They’re great for travel since they don’t have a ton (or any) color changes.
Hey Kathleen! Hope you have a fabulous time in Alaska!! Also hope you really enjoy your visit to Acorns and Threads! Looking forward to hearing all about it! I really like the spool quilt hanging behind you today. Such cute spools! Safe travels!
Hi! I'm so happy to have found your channel. I love the quilt behind you! I, too, am a quilter and, of course, a cross-stitcher. Have fun at Acorns. I've heard so many floss tubers speak of it. I hope to go one day! Thanks for sharing your stitching!
Thanks so much! I’ll share info on one of my episodes after I’m back home about the quilt behind me. I swap it out and just hung that one last week. Not surprisingly, a lot of cross stitchers are quilters too. Happy stitching!
Thank you! The Mary Poppins piece is a fun stitch! I started it on my flight to Oregon. My “start” made me realize just how long it’s going to take though. This a LOT of stitches. lol
We in Jersey don't go back to school until the Thursday after Labor Day, can't imagine how the kids are coping with the heat if they're back now! 😮 Safe travels to Acorns and Alaska. Is your cruise a stitching sponsored cruise? Loved the beach stitch, the Rehoboth banner is cute.
thank you! My cruise isn’t an official stitch cruise, but Shelia announced on Sunshine Stitchers that she and Margaret were going and anyone was welcome to join. So just regular cruise price, but we ended up with a large enough group that Shelia secured a stitching room for us in the evenings!
Good luck with first week back to school! I hope this year’s kids (and parents!) are easy! 😉I’m working on Dozen Quakers tomorrow while we’re at sea all day.
Have a great time on your cruise and trip to Acorns and Threads. Love the beach piece and the Rehoboth banner. Happy stitching!
Thank you! Happy stitching to you too!

Thank you! Your tips on Alaska excursions really helped me! I booked mine the night I got home from NJ, before I forgot the things you told me about.
