It’s a great jig. I used it today to fit a simple latch. Minimum amount of chiselling out and the lock was fitted in about 5 mins. Took me longer to get my tools out the van then it did to fit the latch. It takes a bit of practice to get the grips with it, understand it and how to set it up and use it.
If you watching this considering buying one. MY ADVISE IS DONT. get your self a Souber mortise kit because your do most of your lock cutting while door is hung and in my case I cut lots of different type of mortise locks on mostly doors already installed.
Can anyone advise me? Does this jig go as small as a normal door latch face plate or is it just locks? I know it's a *lock jig* but hopefully there's a small plate for internal door latches
@@Nutsaroobabought one last week I can’t router out face plates on a 34mm door since the clamp side sits to proud under the face template stopping the 30mm guide bush from going all width

Might be a good 😊 dea to call next the dust extractor to the router. Of course you would need to fit the hood to the router first too.
What model of router is this? Thx
What about the receiver
Good information sir

@Tony DC thanks for the reply, I bought the jig about 10 months ago but haven't had the time to teach myself to use it

Make your own, it's easy find a video on RUclips 😅
Singapore way can get. I want
Doesn't work on 35mm doors
What bit do you use? Will this work with 3” locks? Has anyone ever used a drill bit in a router for that extra reach?
Do but ill definitely be giving it s go soon
I use unika jig with 12.7mm bit and that one you can get 133mm long. It's 3/86cx1. There should be 12mm with the same length.
What a freak show comment section.
