I love love love this band!!Outstanding musicians and quite diverse in age.Unfortunately they just toured the country and I missed them.Love Igor the drummer!
The fact that one of the original members of CTA/Chicago - Danny Seraphine - from time-to-time as a drummer sits in with this band during their US tours tells you all you need to know about the fidelity to the original recordings.
I've been basically addicted to this band for the last year. They are so good. And watching the fun they're having while performing is a joy. I'll be seeing them twice on their US tour; Cincinnati, and Ft Wayne. Listen to The Speck Of Dust. One of their original songs. It's fantastic.
I’ve just discovered them, exceptional. Try checking out Hindley Street Country Club from Australia - an amazing cover band with an incredibly diverse repertoire. Take a deep dive into their work. You won’t be disappointed
Nailed it! I’ve been a fan of Chicago from the first time I heard them and I’ve seen them countless times (including with Earth Wind and Fire). Been a fan of Leonid and Friends for a few years and just grateful that that Chicago sound remains…absolutely brilliant and timeless. Great reaction!
I wish everyone could go see Leonid and friends Live ❤they’re unforgettable and fantastic!! Loved the original Chicago and saw them years ago!! Wonderful musicians and singers both bands🌹🔥🌹🔥🔥🌹🔥🔥
I first heard of this band maybe 6 years ago and I'm also a big Chicago fan. Not sure if you've heard Chicago do 25 or 6 to 4 at Tanglewood by Chicago. Hendrix knew that Terry was on another level. Chicago is one of best bands ever IMHO, cheers.
Writing music by dictation is part of music education. I had to write part of a string quartet as part of my high school music exam. It was played five times and had to be accurately written down using the correct clefs for each part. Leonid knew all of the musicians through working as a sound engineer and arranger for many years. He began his own project after retiring.
Leonid is beyond belief!! 👍This song is only one of L&F classic covers..they do them Better than the original in many cases....Listening and seeing them in back to back songs gives you a great nostalgic feeling....these guys (and girl) are amazing ..❤💥💢🌹
Scott, you REALLY need to check out Leonid & Friends version of the Carpenters song "Superstar". Ksenia (lead singer) kills the Karen Carpenter song completely!
This was when they first started and Leonid played piano. Correct, since commie Russia would not allow Ameticsn sheet music, the brilliant Leonid transposed all the parts by ear.
I was gonna say... As an American, I was raised to worry about Russian subversion. Is this but another example? Should we expect a musical Bedford Incident? Anyway, nice job! The bass especially was performed/mixed in nicely. Anyway, I cautiously subscribed, but if I'm called to name names, I'm gonna be pissed.

"Leonid & Friends" is simply fantastic. They are out of the curve with their covers of "Chicago", "Earth, Wind & Fire" and even "Steely Dan".
I did a reaction of 'My Old School'... could be the best they've done (and that's saying a lot!!)
The drummer has met the drummer of Chicago, there is a video of that reunion.@@RockandRollRelic
Absolutely 💥💥💥💥💥
I’m in love with the one with the long dark hair singing 🎵♥️♥️♥️😍🔥🔥🔥
I love love love this band!!Outstanding musicians and quite diverse in age.Unfortunately they just toured the country and I missed them.Love Igor the drummer!
I wore out my old Chicago vinyls back in the early 70's. I think Leonid really resurrects their spirit in every way. Unbelievably accurate!!!
They're the best!
One Christmas my cousin bought me tickets to see Chicago. I was so excited. Then I realized it was for the Broadway Show. How depressing. True story.
Gives me goosebumps
There definitely the best 👍🏻🔥🔥🔥
Day-um! Good as I've heard! Vocals are outrageous and the drums are spot on as are those horns!!!
Exquisite,!!!!!,♥️
Utter perfection!!!!
Everyone is great!¡ Special shout out to trombone....played that in grade school

Thanks for this. They are truly great, really pros!

Followed from the beginning, one of the best out there!
Give credit to trombone...he is fantastic
Leonid & friends are fantastic. The joy and excellence they bring to this music makes it new and exciting all over again!
The best cover band in the world

Just saw them in Clearwater Fl. Great show!
Vasily is a straight up bad a** rock star. 1i will be seeing these guys in May in an intimate 300 seat venue! I can't wait!

Thx for the kind words. I am always blown away by their stuff
I saw the original CTA twice in the early 70's, no comparison, this band is much sharper and dynamic, a genius Leonid

I love it when tribute bands are true to the music. These guys are perfect. 😎🎶 If you like Beatles check out the Analogues . They are also spot on. 👍
Seen ‘em and agree!
I saw them in St George, Utah last fall. Absolutely stunning!
They’re amazing, they also cover Earth Wind and Fire 🔥 which they knock it out of the park as well !

It's like a I created a band and hit it no for note word for word phenomenal way to go Leonard and Friends awesome
I’ve seen them live twice in Michigan. They’re as nice as they are talented.
The best band!

😢
They have toured the US about 6 times since 2019

This was a VERY early video of theirs. He hadn't homed in on playing bass yet. The rest though is history. So great!
An oldie but goodie. I don't think I've seen the bass player in this one show up in any of their other videos. He was rockin!
The guy in the white shirt was giving me Joe Cocker vibes with some of his mannerisms.
Vasily.
Really, “Leonid got a wild hair up his butt”. Yup, you are a rock and roll relic. Or an oilfield hand……
This was when they first started and Leonid played piano. Correct, since commie Russia would not allow Ameticsn sheet music, the brilliant Leonid transposed all the parts by ear.
Weird seeing Leonid on the piano instead of the bass guitar.
Ukranian and Russian musicians.
