I saw AC/DC open up for UFO, TKO, Nazareth and the main headliner HEART in ‘78 at John O’Donnell stadium in Davenport,Iowa. Heart totally amazed me. Ann Wilson was such a powerhouse back then, the group didn’t need much instrumentation power, just her voice alone was enough to make myself a fan for life. Both AC/DC and Heart won me over that day:Great concert!!

Gotta say it..this is better than the original. Alex's vocals and lead guitar kick Fagen's and Skunk's work up a notch. His brother and the others on backing vocals are right on. The horns are super tight. And the energy of Igor's always astounding drumming is the secret sauce. Leonid did The Dan proud with this one. That said, in their live show this one is a disappointment w/o Rox Bros.

Huge song, but it doesnt do their live show justice. The rock n roll banter between songs by the lead singer is unparalleled in music currently, in my humble opinion.

I honestly can't believe her precision. I grew up on Iron Maiden, Vivian Campbell, Malmsteen, etc and when they play live some of the precision is lost. Hal loses none of her precision when she plays live. It's amazing.

She is so close to being my hands down favorite guitar player of this era... but she needs to resist the trem bar. She falls back on it way too much in many of her songs.

If you would like to, check out "Yoyoka's 12th Birthday Sessions", where she plays with some of the best session musicians and singers in Japan. "Burn" is one of the songs they did, along with several others that just rocked. She also did Joe Satriani's" Satch Boogie" with able assistance from the young wunderkind guitarist Li-sa-X, also from Japan. Li-sa-X is 17 now and is someone you should look into. She has her own band now named Koiai and they are really good. To get a good idea of what she's capable of, check out her video of "Looking Up To You". Hazuki from Nemophila works with her and a fine young singer named Rina do a great job with English lyrics. You won't be disappointed. Another thing you should check out where Yoyoka is involved is Kids Rock For Kids, a group of amazing young musicians and singers here in the US. They have done two amazing covers so far, of Boston's "Peace of Mind" and Muse's "Hysteria". The ages range from 9 years old to 16 and they are as good as what you saw in this video. They have a 13 year old singer from New Jersey that has "STAR" written all over her. They are the hottest thing right now.
