I caught Clairy Browne & the Bangin' Rackettes at a festival in Ann Arbor right around the time "Baby Caught the Bus" was released. Absolutely fabulous show.
I was always disappointed the act didn't really take off. Her next album, "Pool," has some bangers but is decidedly more pop.
