The choice is endless. Emerald, Still in love with you, Cowboy song, Chinatown, Killer on the loose, Black Rose, Whiskey in the jar, Black Boys on the corner, Warriors.....and on and on. I am really just scratching the surface here. I cannot think of another band with as many great great hard rock songs and anthems. Phil was and is a legend. On a side note, John Sykes, what a talent who we maybe never got the best of.
Thanks Scott, that was the finest version I've ever heard of this rock classic! The audio was great for today much less 1983 (good remastering no doubt) - those drums were engineered wonderfully. It's nice to see a band having fun on stage. Say, can anyone elaborate on Phil's bass? It looks like a Fender but with a custom pick guard sporting a P-90 pick-up. It had a growl that cut into the mix very well.
That's John Sykes on guitar ..you might remember him from the Whitesnake album...
Yeah, I do remember that one, I was 16/17 y.o. Good memories back then.
Note aside: you still owe is 9. Dull Knives (cut better) from QOTMS album, remember?
