Man, you DID the right thing and if I had a channel I would do exactly the same. The way to go is to first listen to the studio version, which is where they deliver 100% of their creativity and vision of the song; and then move on to the live versions, which is where they sound authentic, with no additives beyond the filler backing tracks. One version is as fantastic as the other.

In a rig rundown last year, Ale said that apart from some overdrive, she really had not used effects on her bass previously. But, for the new tracks they were working on (now being released as the album Keep Me Fed) she was going to use a lot more effects, especially distortion -- she would finally be putting her pedal board to use! The results are to be heard in the six songs released so far from KMF, so it'll be interesting to hear what she's done on the remaining six when the album is released. Plus, of course, there's the drop-A tuning she and Dany both use on Automatic Sun!
The Warning have plenty on the horizon, continuing their international tour, with shows in Japan (including one with Band Maid) and new album by the end of June.
Live, is their Super-Power. Pro Live Version.. Live at the Pepsi Center. In Mexico. when you hear this Live and Sick Live, you will understand. No-Pro version of Sick. Yet.
These girls are selling out just about all their shows. They're United States shows for the fall are selling out already, they need stadiums at least it's going that route anyhow. Just like a lot of people have been saying in the warning army these girls have reached the Pinnacle where I believe they can finally start selling out stadiums

I prefer the live version of Automatic Sun over the studio version. Studio put a little too much distortion in the bass for my liking.
