Hell You Call a Dream’ @ Pepsi Center! But they are all Great! The Queen of the Murder Scene Concept album is a great trip.
Three classically trained musicians since they were tiny little kids. Legions of fans discovered them as a rock band when they were 9, 12 and 14 years of age. All three play piano and sing lead while playing their instruments. Lead singer Dany is the eldest. She can sing ballads or blow the roof off an arena. The limit of her vocal range is unknown as she keeps raising the bar. Pau the drummer is the middle sister. She can sing lead like Dany or break your heart with ballads while drumming. She is the beating heart of The Warning. You just got a taste of her ‘scream of destruction’. The youngest is the bassist Ale, whose guitar work has been compared to a diesel locomotive that she is affectionately known as the ‘Thunder Goddess’. They sing in English, Spanish, French and a bit of Japanese. They will be performing with Band Maid in Japan.

Top notch. From start to finish. Granted, I’m not a huge concert watcher but it’s the best live concert I’ve ever personally been exposed to. Viva The Warning!

Somehow or other I think maybe you might have found one of your new favourite bands 😂. I found them way back in 2013/4 when they were kids, it’s been great watching them grow up into world class artists!
Yeah, their gigs in Japan start with Band-Maid doing a joint gig with them, they’re besties! It’s going to be interesting to see what the Japanese audiences make of them, I think that they will most likely enjoy them!
For next maybe go back in time to the title track (and video) of their first full album XXI century blood, for their age at the time the creativity and songwriting was exemplary and unbelievably good!
Edit: I see that you’ve reacted to Cool Aid; The Warning have a track Cool Aid Kids, it’s not as frightening as the one you’ve seen but gives a great warning about society based on what happened!
Favorite The Warning song? For most of us it is the last one we listen to.
They would make a great commuting playlist. SO much variety with so many influences. You will hear many musical references in their songs, but it will sound uniquely The Warning.

Welcome to The Warning Army! For me their songs fall in two categories; favorite or most favorite and the last one changes quite often. That's why "the last one you heard is your new favorite" is a common saying among the fans. A mainstay lately amongst the most favorites is 'Autmatic Sun' however so that is my recommendation for your next reaction. Enjoy the ride!

Great reaction. I've not been so excited by a band for literally years. It's hard to select a favourite, no, really their songs are all great and different. But a good introduction would be Martirio a rock anthem sung in Spanish or Dust to Dust where Pau the drummer is the lead singer.
Best Gen Z hard rock power trio on the scene today. Drummer won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year, bassist is a Spector Bass featured artist, and the guitarist has been personally gifted guitars by Lzzy Hale of Halestorm and Matt Belamy of Muse, both acts they've toured with.
Dany is endorsed by PRS guitars, and both Dany and Ale are endorsed by Orange amps.
Glad you like that. They currently have 3 studio albums and the 4th one, Keep Me Fed, is due for the end of June. Evolve is from the 3rd album, ERROR, and is generally the last song of the show due to its high energy. I would suggest Survive (TEDx 2017 version) from the first album, Queen of the Murder Scene (Teatro Metropolitan CDMX version) title track of their second one and Hell You Call a Dream (live at Pepsi Center CDMX) from the upcoming one. If you want to check out music videos, you can watch Que Mas Quieres, from the upcoming album and was co-directed by Pau, the drummer and creative powerhouse of the band. Of course, that's just a start.

It's hard to go wrong with any of their songs but you should check out the music video for Que Mas Quieres (great song and it's a mini-movie) and for an example of them in full rockstar mode check out their performance of More at the 2023 MTV VMAs.
Keep it simple to start with. Watch this entire concert and raise your heart rate, melt your face, maybe even shed a tear over how good it is.

Outside of that show, I'd suggest Hell You Call A Dream (live from the Pepsi Center) or Automatic Sun (live video, studio audio), both from their upcoming Keep Me Fed album (releasing June 28). The Warning--Dani/lead vocals-guitar, Ale bassis/backup vocals, Pau drummer/vocals...they do sing in Spanish also, but the songs are great...

They and Band-Maid are doing a co-headlining show in Tokyo, and they've got two or three of their own headlining shows following that in Japan.

The Villarreal-Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track!
They are going to release their 4th studio album "KEEP ME FED" June 28th, 2024. And 5 singles off the new album have already been released: "MORE", "S!CK", "HELL YOU CALL A DREAM", "QUE` MA`S QUIERES", and recently "AUTOMATIC SUN".
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 24, 22 and 19 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #50+ original songs (not including the remaining songs from the upcoming 4th studio album).
Drummer Paulina writes around 75% of The Warning's songs. Most of her songs begin in rock ballad form; starting with a concept, then chord progression, melody and basic song structure on the piano. She may only have a verse and a chorus when she brings it before her sisters. Together they transpose each instrument's part and "rockify" the song. They complete any lyrics, bridges and any arranging, etc. making changes along the way. A 2/3 approval vote of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Paulina has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both guitarist Daniela and bassist Alejandra write equally great songs; just not as many.
Drummer Paulina recently won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year and won Best Up and Coming Artist in Modern Drummer Magazine's recent reader's poll.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR. I have talked with their parents on 2 occasions and have had many conversations with their manager Rudy.
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

They are the youngest veteran artists in the world of rock.
Metallica, Foo Fighters, Alice Cooper, Def Leppard, Royal Blood, Guns 'N' Roses and Muse are just some of the famous bands that have been very pleasantly surprised by TW's talented proposal, as well as all those fans who have sold out their concerts in the United States, Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina...
In addition to Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom.
No, I'm not talking about the rock festivals, where they were also very successful, but where they headlined and were the main attraction.
Muse was so impressed with the young ladies who opened their concerts in Mexico, that they invited them to continue with them on their tour of Europe and even in their own country, the United Kingdom.
It's redundant to say, but they were also very successful.
Among TW's fans are musicians, music producers, sound engineers, roadies, vocal coaches, music critics, etc., from all over the world.
In addition, and no less important, they are the first Latin American band to sign with a top-level international record label, No.1 (UNIVERSAL MUSIC).
And just to mention it superficially, what happened at the MTv VMAs was spectacular, as they impressed (impacted) the production staff and everyone who witnessed it very positively, the Director exclaimed at the end of "Evolve":
"... Holly Shit, I'm a fan now!! ..."
And the others in production let the girls know this, but he himself had already told them personally just after finishing their performance and there is evidence of all this on video.
Around the world, budding rock groups are covering the band, including Asia and Australia.
And all this is being done by Dany, Pau and Ale being very young and on their own merits, with discipline and professionalism.
What they didn't do was to stagnate only in the field of rock in their own language, which is the "ceiling" in which other Spanish-speaking groups have always been limited... Or that they have failed.
It's such a talented all-female band that they don't "exploit" their sexuality, they are educated, humble and very good human beings with a truly exemplary attitude.
Currently they have been performing as headliners in several European countries in venues where have been sold out and they even had to change venues for others with greater capacity.
And they will also perform at the "Wacken Open Air" 2024 in Germany, the most important metal festival and at the "Pol'and'Rock" festival in Poland, which is considered the biggest music festival in Europe and they will be there on the main stage.
This summer they will go to Japan where they have 3 dates and on the first day they will have a collaboration with the local band Band-Maid which is generating great expectations and is very justified.
They will be part of the Evanescence and Halestorm tour.
For now I'm subscribing to your channel because I hope to see many reactions from you to my favorite band of all time.

🤘🏾⚡️🤘🏾 That was the last song of that concert. The best version of that song is the one at MTV awards which was done some 6 months after this concert. My favorite songs from that concert: Dust to Dust, 23, Animosity, Ugh, Amour, Martirio, Narcisista, Choke.
I've seen these amazing ladies three times and wouldn't hesitate to see them again! One of my favorites from The Warning is "Kool-Aid Kids", great song, if a little short, but the lyrics are so meaningful and right on for these weird times, as a lot of their lyrics are.

My favorites are "Evolve", "Queen of the Murder Scene", "Dull Knives", "Ugh", and "Copper Bullets". There are so many good ones though. And most important, I would skip anything not live. As others aptly say, "Playing live is their super power."

First time on your channel and liked the vibe and enthusiasm. TWA (The Warning Army) is starting to arrive so here is a quick summary: Dany (Daniela, Guitar/Lead singer, now 24), Pau (“Pow”, Paulina, drums and sometimes lead vocals, 22) and Ale (“Ah-ley”, Alejandra, bass and backing vocals, 19). The video you saw was from 2022 so at that time they were 22, 20 and 17. And believe it or not, last year they celebrated their 10th year as a band (that’s right, they started when they were 13, 11 and 8 years old)!
There are many options so to keep it simple, I’ll make it simple. One song I think you’ll really like: Hell you Call a Dream official live from the Pepsi Center in Mexico. It’s phenomenal and was just dropped in March. You’ll see them bring the energy up a level, especially Dany’s voice (guitarist) and you will absolutely love watching Pau on the drums and Ale (“Ah-ley”) absolutely driving the whole song on her bass.

Another great song she sings is Narcisista and the performance at the Teatro Metropolitan is great but I think the quintessential performance of Narcisista is En Vivo en Foro DiDi Monterrey. It was their live debut of that song which was their first song in Spanish written in response to critics who called them traitors to their culture for all of their songs being in English.
'XXI Century Blood' is their first music video and won several awards. 'Que Mas Quieres' is their newest and is in Spanish but you can understand what's going on. And if you want to see the drummer sing lead while still drumming, try 'Dust to Dust' for one example.

This is the only band I've listened to where I don't have favorite songs; their entire 50-60 song catalog is fantastic! This concert sets the standard for how to produce a concert video, and all 20+ songs are great. There OMVs and lyric vids are also really good, especially the "Que Mas Quieras" three minute telenovela, the multi-award winning XXI Century Blood (one of their early ones), and Martirio (in Spanish). And they did a collab where the WebToon I'm the Grim Reaper animated an episode to Animosity.

The Warning's version is the first track on Metallica's "Black List" album (a tribute to 30 years since the release of the Black album).
