IEC has dealt with these and recounts were done for VD's were grievances were and nothing came about. Now MK has taken a generic approach which points nowhere in particular because the evidence that they initially presented was defeated following recounts of some DV's......
There is no "rush" ,IEC attended to complaints and recounted votes in certain districts where evidence was presented. The constitution of our country says a sitting of the national assembly must happen in 14 days ,that's the LAW not a "rush" . We can't change our constitution because parties are unhappy. The court case will happen ,in the mean time all parties should respect their voters and attend parliament.

The IEC rushed to announce elections as being free and fair while ignoring many objections from many parties. Their past habits of pushing these objections aside is receiving a serious push back thanks to the new player - the MKP. Why did the screen freeze before the Durban Metro votes were entered. Why did Mpumalanga results go blank as well when the MKP seemed to be making advances. Suspiciously still, the MKP's call to recount was ignored but met with a rush to announce the phoney results. Something is really wrong when suddenly all political parties are quiet and are rushing to negotiate for positions in the phoney GNU. The daylight robbery is OK if the victim is from poor community.
The issues raised have always been there in the previous elections even when JZ became president, there is no election without complaints anywhere in the world. The MK is just misled by one person who wants to settle his political scores

Some of us occasionally slip to what apartheid taught us. That is is: A Black person must not complain! Only Whites like DA who should voice their dissatisfaction. My question is: Why our constitution stipulates that political parties can lodge their dissatisfaction when in fact or in reality this should not be done? Does the constitution only giving a 'democratic-lip service' - does it imply that 'on paper/theoretically you can complain but in reality DON'T COMPLAIN - because you are making noise, you are disruptive, you are uneducated, etc? South African is still a long way from neocolonialism/apartheid with educated Blacks being in complicit with these barbaric systems...just because these Blacks want to show their masters that they are educated.

Why is Vuyo not mentioning that Khumalo signed a letter? Why isn't he stating Khumalo was expelled for stated reasons? Why are we not questioning IEC's conduct and rush? Why haven't they satisfactorily responded to the irregularities submitted by aggrieved political parties?
